She's a lunatic. She's the Irish version of Trisha Paytas, only Trisha Paytas is entertaining.

She wasn't worried about her sisters PCOS diagnosis and the hysteria she created by herself surrounding her own "potential" diagnosis without an official diagnosis is damaged and hurtful towards people with PCOS. As usual she overreacted to create drama. Alluding to the fact that PCOS would be a death sentence, when IF she bothered to educate herself before creating drama, she'd realise even with a diagnosis of PCOS, it is still possible for some to get pregnant. Instead she created a a smear campaign and made a lot of people with PCOS feel shitty in the process.

She doesn't leave her house unless her boyfriend isn't working. She wouldn't have went to that Roz event without him. Can't see Hannah without him. She's unhinged and dangerously co dependent. But okay Mel you keep telling us how you are bisexual, fiercely independent and how you really didn't want a monogamous relationship when you met Thomas.

Yeah, that is one thing that pissed me off about Melanie, is how little interest and care she had about her sister ACTUALLY having PCOS and she is a lot younger than Melanie, and Melanie couldn't give a shit as long as it isn't HER.

I have PCOS and in my early 30's, and sometimes I worry I won't be able to have children, but I don't let it eat me up inside because that's more harmful to me, and I also don't have Melanie's finances if I did have trouble, so she is really going to start touching people's nerves to be honest. I really want her followers to detach themselves a little and see the reality of this person their following blindly, because she has some dangerous thoughts that she just spits out as if its okay to allow others who are easily influenced to believe it.

I didn't like Thomas to begin with, but now I see the poor guy has gotten into a relationship with a seriously damaged woman, who CLINGS to him like a parasite. I noticed that too, that she never goes out when he is working (she must pester him on his breaks like a maniac) and when he is home, she's probably jumping the poor lad to relieve her high sex drive (poor dad listening to that!!)

I still find it really fucking weird that she drags him everywhere she goes now, even doing shopping with her friends. Really surprised when Hannah came over and he's there, I mean, the guy probably wants some down time himself, and Hannah probably wants their time, but NOPE, Melanie is a control freak now.

I haven't been following along for quite a while, but I just decided to visit Mel's IG. and OH MY LORD.

Every. freaking. post. mentions her future wedding/fiance. And/or is a selfie. The narcissism has gotten out of control with this one.

I stopped following her for this very reason. She seemed a bit full of herself and braggy back then, but now its so extreme I can't believe people watch this shit. Its absolutely nauseating.

And frankly, it was bad for my mental health (which is another big reason I stopped following her). It just really bothers me when influencers spout this rhetoric of "accepting your flaws" and "overcoming perfectionism" but then they project a picture perfect image. Every other post is a heavily filtered/edited image of her flawless porcelain skin, or her flat stomach or her big boobs or her long flowing hair or her quIrKy clothes or her boyfriend- sorry FIANCE. At first I was honestly jealous and in awe of her life but now I wonder if any of it is even real. Is she really happy? Is she truly healthy? I know she has a history of eating disorders and OCD, so I worry that maybe this is just an extension of that. After all isn't social media the perfect breeding ground for narcissism and perfectionism? Usually the more vigorously people try to convince you that their life is perfect, the more they're actually struggling behind the scenes.

She only ever talks about problems she's had AFTER she's magically found the cure- which conveniently is usually a product she just happens to have received from a brand sponsorship.

One of her IG posts was a reply from someone saying they had a ovarian cyst and PCOS, and are now pregnant with their 1st child at 31. So Melanie asks like a moron as she always is, ''that answers my question about having babies with one ovary...amazing!! did you conceive without IVF?' Wow...just wow Melanie. The person is 31, which is still young and in prime condition to have a baby, and OH! She has PCOS as well and was able to get pregnant....Jaysus what are the odds!!

She really is twisted. Melanie hasn't even started to try to conceive so how does she know if she'll have problems or not? I'm finding it harder and harder to make sense of the way she behaves and thinks and how these followers of her are so cultist in standing by her? Do they not have a brain of their own, do they not rationalize or find faults in her? I mean c'mon!!

She's basically sitting in her bed, posting continuously for the past 24 hours about ovarian cysts and thinking the best answers come from strangers online, and who could be making things up to wind Melanie up, but she goes on like she's a martyr for the people with yet ANOTHER ailment that she is now patron for! Why doesn't she, like every normal human, go to see the doctor or a specialist like Professor Mary Wingfield in the Merrion Fertility Clinic in Dublin who will run tests to see how many eggs she has, how great her chances of pregnancy is etc etc, instead of bleating all this shite online. If babies are as important as Melanie is going on and on and on and on and on and on and on (jk) then like others who put their life savings into finding out, she should just go see the professionals, pay the money and find out once and for all, because its getting old and boring and I know for real Melanie isn't that desparate for babies, its just another bandwagon for her to jump on, because if she were, she'd already be trying to conceive regardless of weddings or waiting for the right time, she'd pay whatever she had to find out if she could have them naturally, or if she needs help, but because she isn't doing any of this, I know she isn't overly concerned or in that much of a rush to have children because she'd have done all of that by now as so many women who DO have issues try and find out.

Melanie is a class example of a con artist, manipulating a few gullible people and taking their money to support her lavish lifestyle, and is a narcissist and definitely needs help with her sociopathic tendencies towards how little she feels to others (and are good at pretending they care but turn it off instantly, classic sign).

The thing that got me and I genuinely will never take anything she says seriously again was this morning on her stories when she mentioned about how she doesn't have a gyne but she should start going to one. SHE BASED ALL OF HER ASSUMPTIONS ON NOTHING! SHE HADN'T EVEN SEEN A GENUINE PROFESSIONAL OUTSIDE OF HER GP YET! (A GP is a professional but for fertility things you're better off going to a specialist in that area). I had to put my phone down and walk away.

Fucking hell. Has she no friends to bounce this shit off instead of posting it online and asking strangers?

If you're under 35 they say you should be trying to conceive for a year before seeking fertility help. I don't understand why she's getting herself so worked up about this when she doesn't seem to be even trying to conceive right now. She probably knows herself that a doctor will just tell her to relax and start getting down to it, she'd prefer dozens of strangers on instagram feeding her neurosis

Bit weird isn't it? She only lives in Galway, which is 2 hours away, why didn't she invite her mum to this very special thing? Weird...

Who even says " ovarian cyst bloat"? She's really clinging onto this diagnosis for dear life. Functional ovarian cysts are actually really common and can happen most women at least once in their lifetime. She's milking this for everything she can. She's acting crazy.

I think eventually Hannah is going to drift away from Melanie, and it will be all Melanie's fault. We never see her hanging around with Riyadh anymore, or I've not seen anything for months now, and once they were in separable. So, I think Melanie started showing signs that she wasn't as liberal as she makes out to be, and Riyadh got a whiff of this and slowly moved away from Melanie. I think that was one reason Melanie went on a rant last year about toxic people etc etc, I think it was a dig at Riyadh. That's all guess, but the way Melanie has been last couple years, beside seeming unhinged and hysterical, I think she's slowly pushing away all the friends she's built up over the years.

Hannah will probably be the last as Hannah is so calm and understanding but I think it will get to a stage where Melanie will take advantage too many times and Hannah just doesn't need that kind of toxic personality in her life, which Melanie is.

Honestly hannah has a serious illness and in my opinion I feel like she deals with it and educates about it without being woe is me...if i was her listening to melanie yap about ibs (which I have it's not nice but not the same as having a bloody stoma) I would be telling her to wise up

I'm pretty curious about that too, especially since Hannah said a few months that she's on a bit of deadline to get pregnant because of her ulcerative colitis -she needs surgery which will dramatically reduce her fertility and the longer she puts off the surgery the higher her risk of cancer. And she has amazingly not been freaking out about it 24/7 on social media.
Mel's bbf is someone who's openly said they want kids but may not get a chance to depending on how their very real, very serious, chronic disease progresses and I bet that's never even crossed her mind with all her own fertility woes

In fairness that seems to be one of the few issues in Melanie's life that she hasn't made up herself. I can tell there are issues with the mother and not of Melanie's making, the mother is very absent from her life and she doesn't talk about her and I can sense a weird tension and change in tone when she is mentioned.

So I have had cysts and think I have a large one again. (Awaiting a scan) there is no fucking way I could leap around doing exercises like she is on IG. I’m also surprised when she was saying I need a gyno, as normally you need one to get a proper diagnosis.
