Just one thing I want to address as I was one of the people who mentioned that Crystal should exercise. Crystal seems to spend so much time inside on the couch. It's just not good for your mind. I know its easy to say, but just a simple walk around the block, so you're not trapped in the house.

I think Crystal is letting jealously consume her too. Going by the above post. It's just not a nice thing to do to someone. Let alone your sister in law. If Crystal sought professional help, one you can't buy off eBay. They will or rather can help with how to cope when you're a put in a delicate situation.

Ok, so I'm one of those people who was (I had a tubal ligation) super duper fertile and had 2 kids first go when I knew I was ovulating and got my two boys that I wanted. So I don't know the yearning that people are experiencing while TTC.

So what makes you qualified to have an opinion on this? You probably should have just stopped here. I'm actually glad Crystal has made this series, as haphazard and all over the place it is, it actually shows not everyone can conveniently pop out a kid whenever they feel like it. You might think her 'dirty laundry' is over the top, but actually that's what the emotions of the TTC struggle looks like, she's just had the balls to put it out on the internet. Shaming people into keeping it quiet just because it makes you uncomfortable is one of the biggest reasons why many couples suffer in silence. Check yourself because your attitude is pretty disgusting.

Seriously, some of the comments on this thread are incredibly ignorant. As someone else pointed out, I"m not really digging the whole 'blame' culture because she's overweight. It comes across as 'well she's fat, therefore what do you expect'. You do realise there are a plethora of reasons why women have fertility issues, right?

Yes, her TTC journey may be relatively short compared to some, but she's not entitled to feel sad because someone else in the world is in a worse situation? That could be applied to almost everything. Her journey is obviously not meeting up with her expectation, however realistic or non-realistic that may be. Instead of essentially laughing at her expense, maybe show a bit of empathy? I'm kind of disgusted that people believe half the shit I've read on this thread.

I genuinely feel sorry for Crystal because I can empathise with that rut that she's stuck in. Unfortunately for her, her everyday life kind of limits her interaction with reality and I think she's continuing to spiral. I hope she gets the help she needs to get through.

Good to see she notices her behaviour/character/whatever you want to call this.

She really needs to talk to someone professional who can help her through her emotions. Someone she doesn't know personally or YouTube stranger friends. She needs an outsider who doesn't know her and won't judge. But I mean if she thinks YT works for her then...

As someone who was recently told I will actually never be able to have children of my own (at 28 yrs old - thx universe), I feel like I can say that everybody has the right to feel whatever they want to feel when it comes to struggling to conceive. Even if that ‘struggle’ is due to not meeting your own timeline and expectations of how easily you would fall pregnant. It’s a personal issue and one that everyone will deal with differently. I also don’t think criticising Crystal for learning about the whole TTC process is fair. She admits when she has made mistakes or not understood things properly. I understand that it is on a platform put forth to an audience but I doubt anyone takes these videos as educational, they’re just one persons understandings. I’m also curious why people on this board care if Crystal works a regular job. I sure as sh!t wouldn’t work a full time job if I could do YouTube for similar money either. Would anyone? I don’t think it means she’s ‘lazy’. Anyway, I just think everyone can deal with their own crap however they want.. even though my story is much more bleak than Crystal’s fertility wise..I don’t begrudge her for being openly upset, so I’m just surprised that others on here do. But, each to their own.

I just feel that the obsession with checking pee strips monthly can't be healthy. And the pair of them I think Dean said that they didn't follow the advice of the specialist!?

The whole "we have to wait another month" is silly as that's the way it works. Thinking like that only adds to the stress of the situation.

It was good to get Dean's perspective, I agree. The story about dropping off the sperm was pretty funny. I think Dean is good for Crystal, she needs someone who's balanced.

Again, yes any surgery is daunting but if a laparoscopy is what the specialist calls for to meet the end goal then why the heck is it so dramatic to her?

she was whinging that if she had known about endo sooner, she would have gotten the lap? but then in earlier episodes she was told about having one but chose not to?! seems to research everything else but not about having an operation?

I thought the same. If Crystal was so desperate for a baby, why not go through with the laparoscopy? It will help the doctors know if there really is anything wrong. How else can they help make a diagnosis?

firstly i do feel bad that she is struggling to conceive and i understand it can take a toll on you mentally. however if i want to be pregnant and have a family so bad i would do WHATEVER it takes to make that happen. i was in disbelief that after how many episodes of this TTC series, the acupuncturist suggested she should exercise (which is great for de-stressing and clearing the mind etc) and she kinda brushes it off... and even admits that she's been eating junk and not eating healthy meals like hellooooooo????? like exercising and changing her diet may not make any difference but the fact she wont even consider it/try makes it seem rediculous because it is something so easy that she can change but she would rather buy more test strips and sit on the couch all day. her series is sooo frustrating to watch

My mistake. I missed the first part of the video and Crystal did say that they had scheduled her in for a laparoscopy on the 5 March, which has been and gone.

It's just so hard to watch. By no means is anyone perfect. But everything Crystal does just shows how lazy she is. There is so much help out there from qualified and experienced people.

Each to their own, but I think there are different ways to go about talking about personal issues, without exposing your whole personal life to the internet. Maybe Crystal isn't lazy and spends her whole day on the couch watching tv, but it sure does look that way.

I find the sit down videos that she’s done in the TTC series so far the most bearable. She’s still pretty whiny and repetitive (but that’s just crystals normal state of being huh?)
But I feel like because she likely has a list of talking points she doesn’t go off on too much of an emotional tangent and sit there crying for 10 uncut minutes and after spending the first 10 shoving ovulation tests in our faces.
