Isn't he a millionaire though? I think last year he made like an estimated 16 million off of YouTube alone, not counting the merch. I seriously doubt he's having money issues.

And just to mention, he didn't make just 16 million, bare in mind all that money is being split between paying his staff eg: Robin and also paying his tour crew after he toured everywhere. I highly doubt it made that much money in return seeing as he has been selling off all the old stock recently.

Plus he has rent, buying games and new equipment. Buying different merchandise and clothing. Plus whatever amount he sunk into the Cloak brand as a start up revenue. Plus booking flights for gabs to come to his home, plus sending her back. Plus he had to fly out to collect her, fly her back to brighton so they could both fly out to japan together. Which lts be honest, Japan isn't cheap. Plus hotel booking, buying food and supplies....

Then you also have buying gifts, his own groceries....

Like you can say that "16 million" (I highly doubt he made that considering his views, I think around 11-13 million tops. Since it goes through his youtube network too since they get a cut of his earnings.), but considering his lifestyle at the moment and previously, he'll be burning through that money fast.

So I'm 50% sure he has money issues, however its an assumption.

He has been getting millions of views every years since about 2015 though. Let's not forget that not only the new views give him money, but also the views to his old videos. And with all the videos he has up, it will still give him a good amount of money.

Jack is a millionaire. Even if he only made... lets say 5 million last year. Do you really think that all cost him the other millions he collected over the past years? Not to mention that often the huge gaming youtubers don't even have to pay for most games or even equipment (e.g. his PC was given to him by Origin PC for free, the same brand that regularly also sponsors Felix.)

Of course all he is spending is adding up - but not so much that he easily has lost most of his money. I'm not sure how much he invested in cloak, but I don't think it was that much either.

(He also bought the house, on twitter he said he was the proud owner of a house, so he doesn't have rent either).

Let's compare him to Felix for example who was estimated to have made less money than both Jack or Mark in the last two years. Felix owns 10 houses (he talked about it with his editor Brad in a livestream in 2017), goes on vacation about every one to two months, at least once a year to Japan for a month, and buys almost exclusively expensive clothing brands.

So I really think Jack is fine - for now at least.

EDIT: I do think though, that he is getting insecure. Seeing your numbers going down must have an effect on you. I just wish he'd be open about it and listen to his fans (and not the crazy stans) to hear about what people actually want to see from him instead of just pushing his old fans away just because they dare to criticize him.

I don't doubt it either, in gab's thread someone said something about her bragging that Jack was wanting to get his license so he could drive her around Ireland and show her places. She also said something about having already been to Ireland, we speculated that she went with him back in December for Christmas.

I don’t think VidCon pays YouTubers to go to their event, YouTubers just show up do their thing and leave again. Jack has expressively said he hates Vidcon and that there’s nothing for him to do, he’s either protected by security or at a panel. He can’t walk the floor without being mobbed so he’s just left miserable and wanting to go home. I thought he told someone on Tumblr that he wasn’t going this year, why the sudden 360 is strange but I don’t think money is the reason he changed his mind.

I too think Gab convinced him to go to VidCon so she’ll have an excuse to see Suzy and Arin and flaunt to everyone that she’s Jacksepticeye’s new girlfriend.

I think the deal for VidCon is YouTuber creators show up for free in exchange for a "safe" place to meet and hangout with fans and participate in "fun" activities. Pewds mentioned it in a video and that's what he said and I think he also said something about him and a bunch of other YouTubers sat in a class room style room for hours and then they were escorted around the floor; you didn't get to see/ participate in many things or go where you wanted... after hearing that, I'd assume VidCon is just far too much of an unpropitious time for someone like Jack.

Ahh so it's like SiTC then. As someone who's attended SiTC, I didn't think much of it. Don't get me wrong, I met some lovely smaller YouTubers but 16 year old me with a £40 budget found it very expensive haha!

But I agree with you all, it's bizarre that he has suddenly changed his mind.

His layer of fear video just seems to not do well. Either his audience don't find the game entertaining or they just don't want to watch Jack play that game.

His last video is at 605k which is better than his last few but at his audience size, i'd feel as if he should be in the 800k-1.1million view area. (Per day, I'm exstimating using his other videos)

Am I reading this right.... Sean is now posting two videos a day because he’s getting half the views he’s used to on each video. I’m curious to know what’s going on in his head right now. Maybe if he’d dump the trash (gab) and take some time to refocus himself then he wouldn’t have to work as hard. Honestly I haven’t watched his channel since this whole mess started and until the money sucker is gone I probably won’t. I hope he realizes that her influence has changed him into what he’s always said he’s hated. Fake, begging for subs and views, old, recycled and worn out jokes... when does it stop or is he waiting for that final collapse of everything younger him has worked so hard to build. Is a draining relationship really worth giving it all up.

He also hasn't posted a photo with her since April 21st, and their last reply to each others' tweets was May 6th. Isn't this exactly how it went down with Jack/Wiishu? He stopped replying to her and spent all his time streaming alone in his recording room, while she still tried mentioning him as often as possible. If so, it's interesting that he's learned absolutely nothing about communication almost a year after his breakup.

His views on Layers of Fear might be bad because of the shift in his content. He's doing more meme stuff and things that kids watch, so his older audience is dropping off. Layers of Fear isn't really one of the games made for younger viewers, it's slow and atmospheric whereas younger audiences prefer something they can get into pretty quick. Add it to the list of reasons he should stop alienating his older viewers.

I actually see this as a good sign, he's throwing himself into his videos and ignoring her which he should be. When he does get rid of her for good he'll be able to put more effort into his videos and hopefully stop wasting money.

There was no reason to try to completely erase Wiishu and pretend she doesn't exist, the fact that he had gab lined up on the side is unfair to her and in my opinion unforgivable. I know not everyone is going to agree with what I say next especially some certain people but I hope he treats her worse during the breakup, she helped plan this and he certainly was stupid enough to fall for and go along with it. I really feel bad for her ex husband, Jack put himself in this situation so if the sky falls down on gab and crushes her I will have ZERO sympathy for her and would even say she deserves it. Once again not everyone will agree with this, it's just my opinion but here's hoping.

It's easy to jump to conclusions, but I don't think there's a way to tell if the rose tinted glasses have come off or if there's problems, but I do think he occasionally lurks here from the occasional, very specific jokes he makes. If the honeymoon period is over before they've even moved in together when they're going so fast, that's not a great sign.

However, I don't think Gab will take everything as smoothly as Signe if he's going to pull the same shenanigans. She's said everything else about their relationship online (e.g. UTIs from sex, dates, plans to move in), so I don't see why she wouldn't express if she felt she was wronged by him. No matter what people think of her, we can all agree that being slowly removed from the person you're dating's life isn't a nice way for a relationship to end, even if kinda deserves it since she was a part of his breakup last time.

She would definitely spin herself as innocent and being used by a scumbag with horrible intentions even though we damn well know otherwise, she would try to make him look like shit while making herself look like a saint. Wiishu has looks and talent so she's still here whereas gab has neither, she would very quickly and easily fade into nothingness if the game grumps and suzy dont help keep her head above water.

It seems like a stretch that Gab makes hes videos bad. We dont even know if she has really anything to do with his videos.
