I think it depends on the quality of the fabric and how it's constructed. I'm not sure about rayon but I think polyester is supposed to be very durable and there are different grades of polyester so if they use a nicer grade then that might increase the quality. It also depends on how the clothing is sewn together. If they take care to make sure the seams aren't poorly done, that helps to increase the longevity of clothing.ItsRawrzz wrote:Can someone explain to me the idea of the quality? A lot of stuff is cotton which I get but one hoodie that Jack is wearing is 70% rayon. And 25 polyester with 5 percent spandex.
To me that's not worth the 60 quid. Rayon in my experience is not a material that ages well and polyester can be very hit or miss especially if what they're aiming for is athletic leisure wear ?
How is this quality worth the price tag. Genuine question
Since they keep stressing high-end and high quality, I'm hoping that they're putting a lot of care into choosing high grade fabrics (even if they're synthetic) and using good techniques to sew the clothes. If they do, that might justify the high cost.
What I don't get is them stressing that this is for the community. Their audience is mostly kids who can't afford much of this. I feel like the marketing for this was pretty bad. I kept waiting for them to make the selling point of why we should want these clothes and why it's designed with us in mind but they didn't answer that.
Maybe they're hoping the brand will catch on with a larger, richer audience that doesn't follow them.
