I feel kind of like Safiya had an easier time in Buzzfeed because she had so many people to bounce ideas off of. When she's left by herself at home with nothing forcing her to get out or interact with other people in the same business as her, she's going to become stagnant.

I think that's how it is for a lot of us. Personally, I was in a creative slump until I befriended a new coworker and we started having fun convos that ended up being brainstorming sessions. I think that safiya's peers at buzzfeed happened to be a creative bunch (Shane, Ryan, jenn, Stephen, the try guys, Nicki) with a lot of great ideas, and they're in a content graveyard right now because their newer employees like Jazzmyne and Crissy have lackluster ideas. It's really unfortunate that Saf and Freddy had their falling out because I think they used to bounce ideas off each other and that's why ladylike was so good back in 2015-16.

i never expected her to get to a second thread because her beginning was so good and i didn't think there'd be much gossip for her but she proved me wrong with this slump she's in

Her videos are getting realllllly repetitive and boring. I watch them all on 1.25 or 1.5 speed bc they're so long and drawn out and not interesting. They're kinda my "white noise" content like... she's not doing anything original at all, and she's doing the same thing over and over and over. These "I wore____ for a week" and all her makeup videos like, idk what I even like about her. The storage locker video a while back was interesting bc it was new. Hope she changes things up soon.

same. When she first started her content was on a whole other level compared to these gurus, but she's starting to become no better than them. Such a shame everything is going downhill.

I really hope we get another series of travel videos....but from looking at the graveyard girl thread it looks like bunny is desperately trying to collab with Saf which could end up being the most annoying thing on the planet.
