I get a distinct Melania Trump vibe from this angle and from her hidious “power”-outfit. She has the same unappealing square manly face imo.
Seriously this is probably the most manliest pic I’ve ever seen of her....that angle just makes her look like a man, that HUGE jaw 😳

Wow - just listed to that Podcast that someone posted at the end of the last thread. My God. How delusional and full of her own self importance can one person be? Did she actually say that everyone in the 'industry' knows who she is and she's yet to come across anyone that doesn't know her? (Or did I hear that wrong)

Then when she speaks about how busy she is constantly, so much so that her family have to contact Carrie to get in touch with her? How she's so busy, she literally doesn't have the mental head space to deal with every day life? How she's too busy to deal with emails, too busy to edit videos or take her own photo's and how she's expanding her team further to help her as people are so astonished at how much she has to do?
Is she for real? She finds the time to do yoga, PT sessions, get her hair done in London, go to Bicester village, go on umpteen weekends away or spa days, get facials, go to Homesense shopping, go out for lunch and coffee, snooze on the sofa, Oh and watch EVERYTHING on Netflix, while other people sort her emails, editing, photo's etc?

Honestly, the phrase 'thou doth protest too much' couldn't apply any more to Lydia. You get these people everywhere, the ones that brag about how busy they are, how much work they've done are the ones doing sod all!!
Thanks for the recap. I honestly can’t bring myself to listen to it. I just knew she would be spewing out drivel and making out like she is queen of the f*cking internet. She is an absolute joke. And remember(according to Ali’s vlog) this interview was going on whilst Cinderella Ali was upstairs cleaning out his closet...what a huge divide in that house. Bet Lidl filled up her kitchen chalkboard with lots of ‘busy’ appts, purely for the interviewer’s benefit.🤥

What is she trying to prove by saying she wakes up at 6am? Yes but you still nap the rest of the day and don’t actually do any real work like the rest of the world.

I only got half way through before having to switch off. Both of them blowing smoke up each others arses, Lydia thinking she's Elizabeth friggin Taylor making her family contact her via her 'staff', and clearly loving this girl fawning over her and being the centre of attention, the fake laughing urgh, I just can't. This is why she's so smug and has delusions of grandeur, because she surrounds herself with 'yes-people' who tell her everything she wants to hear and can't deal with anything less than positive!

Remember when that Sarah Ashcroft gave that interview for Cosmopolitan that was completely awful and she came across so arrogant and rude, lost a tonne of followers and never really recovered? Man I wish this would have to Lidl.

She even slags her mum off again! Saying how her friend had a really lovely mum and they had a great relationship and the friends mum would buy her daughter designer bags and she was so envious because she never had that! Jeez, never mind your dad knobbed off with another woman and left your mum to put a roof over your head and feed you, but woe is me, I never was given designer handbags. Poor you!

WOW that’s very telling. So her gripe with her mum is because she didn’t give her expensive stuff. Now that is believable.. falls right in line with the Lydia we know. Entitled.

On the social anxiety front, I find it hard to believe. That vile display in Dior, her vicious tongue when she’s belittling others and her general vulgar screeching rather point to socially inept. She has no class, she does not know how to behave like a human in public and she probably fears people will see her for the fraud she is. We’ve all heard her luxe accent slip.

Let’s not also forget this woman is a self confessed sloth. She’s constantly laying about and ordering others around. Looks like she rarely bathes and prances around in smelly gym clothes or a dirty robe. Let’s not overthink it... she’s just a lazy bum.

She's a horrible woman... It's fine if you have genuine feelings of hate towards your mother because you feel neglected but don't parade it and tell the whole world! KEEP THIS SHIT PRIVATE! I personally can't relate and I know so many of you would agree that mothers love their children despite all the flaws and so when you come across a bad mother, then it is quite shocking. Not every mother is perfect- no one's perfect but it seems that her mother is humbly trying.

It seems to me (I don't know the whole truth)

That Lydia hates her mother because of money and status...

It's really bad that she's talking about her mother in this way. She shouldn't be embarrassing her mother. Her mother gave birth to her. Went through all the difficult stages of pregnancy and giving birth and this is how this POS repays her mom?

I'm not a mother myself but I look after my mother so well- to repay her for the times she fed me, clothed me, taught me everything from how to tie my shoelaces to the big things that I need to learn in life. You only get one mother and I think Lydia will get a wake up call one day.

She's such a shitty person. So self absorbed. Maybe she also forgot that despite all the flaws, her mother tried her best and Labia is not the only one who has come from dysfunctional families. You're complaining that you didn't get a handbag like your childhood friends? GET OVER IT.

She should be saying how proud she is of her humble beginnings but she seems to always wash it off and pretend she was never a chav that she is.

What a piece of shit this person is. She is truly vile.

You know that saying, if you want something done then give it to someone who is busy?

I genuinely think she believes she is soooo super busy because she has to do the occasional Skype meeting or drive to the local post office to take photos - because that is 'busy' to someone who spends all day doing nothing!

I have a friend who set up a contractor business but subcontracted everything to everyone else and paid staff to run the admin side of things so effectively she got paid a really good wage to do nothing. She became so unrelatable because whilst everyone else was working 60 hours per week, she was moaning about how busy she was as she had to book a doctor's appointment and pop to the post office to send off some eBay parcels. Because she spent so much of her time doing nothing, these seemed like gargantuan tasks to her! I think the same applies to Lidl in that she is now so used to her usual routine of doing a workout and then spending the day dossing about and napping, that anything else is a huge effort and makes her 'so busy'. The girl needs a huge reality check!

Completely agree Missstarlight. The fact that her mother still comes around and cooks for her and helps her after the way she has belittled her in public says a lot.

I don’t agree tbh. Just because her mother does those things doesn’t mean she is or has been a nice and caring mother.

And I think the reason she doesn’t like her mum has to do with so much more than just not having designer stuff when she was young.

I think Lydia was telling the truth about her mother and that she was indeed very cold and aloof to her and probably is a narcissist herself, as we heard from someone how knows her family that her mum behaved disgracefully at Lydia’s engagement party, because she also likes to be the center of attention.

So it’s very likely that Lydia got her narcissism from both her parents.

We may not like Lydia but that doesn’t automatically make her mum a nice person imo, but I agree that she could keep her feelings about her mum more to herself.

I agree, that interview was awful and I felt some real secondhand embarrassement for both of them, just from listing to it for a few minutes.

If this is the real Lydia (who I think doesn’t exist tbh) than she is an awful human being.

I agree with what you are saying but my point was - some mothers are horrible, some mothers are good or more than amazing but I think she should keep her thoughts about this very sensitive topic to herself. Her mother is clearly trying now (Maybe not? Who knows)- regardless of your parents shortcomings, I think either you completely cut them off if you want to talk shit about them or have a relationship with them and keep your resentments to yourself or your inner circle to show you are trying- This is not for the whole world to see and feast on.

Despite her mothers flaws, her mother is trying- works at Tesco's, cooks for her etc. Her mother is not a drug addict in the streets or whatever who has given up on life and even then those people have a chance.

Just to respect herself also- Lydia should respect herself and not air this shit out to the public.

Her mother may be a narcissistic woman the apple doesn't fall far from the tree after all but Lydia should keep this stuff to herself.

Her mother still gave birth to her- be grateful for that at least.

Iris, do you think or know if Narcissists can actually recover from being one? Any of you ladies know if there's a cure?

This. Exactly! I know so many people that are like this. They become out of touch with reality and genuinely believe they're busy and have no time when they actually have to do a small amount of work. My brother is the same - he complains he's been so busy and had no time if he only gets to play on his xbox for a couple of hours instead of all day - and he only works 2 mornings a week, but talk to him and you'd think he has the worlds most stressful job that no-one else could handle.

Lydia has admitted she no longer deals with emails or general admin. She has a photographer for her instagram or Ad campaigns who also edits pictures (badly). She rarely edits her own videos. She will only go to London for meetings 1 day per week maximum. She admits on the podcast she has hundreds of unread texts, messages and notifications so doesn't spend time sorting these. She spends a max of 5 mins liking a few comments on IG or YT, if at all where as most others will spend a few hours responding to questions or interacting with subs. She's taken on additional help to help with God knows what as she hasn't said yet. So apart from sitting in her grubby gown, talking to the camera and filming herself doing mundane household tasks, what the F does she actually do work wise??

How does Sophie Shohet manage to run her own successful business full time, film 2 videos per week, on time every time, edit her own content, deal with her own YT admin, personally write back to every subscriber that sends her letters and gifts, take her own pics, and manage to openly disclose all ads and gifted products without having a melt down?

If we think about it...

Lydia is actually doing herself more harm than good anyway - with her being lazy she won't really be as successful as the other influenzas out there. Delegating tasks are fine but there comes a point when you have no control over anything anymore and that's the very cause of your own downfall- she's actually on her way there already.

She's learning nothing, achieving nothing while others are already so far ahead than she might as well give up now.

I remember seeing a picture of her watching Netflix on the sofa- or having a nap and I think about the people who work within the public services sector who work more than 60-70 hours a week or more. Some don't even get to go to the toilet or have a proper lunch break while Lazy Labia here moans about how important and busy she is.

You're not out there saving lives Labia.

GET OVER YOURSELF.

I agree with you about keeping things to herself as I also said in the last sentense of my post, but I think emotional abuse can be as harmful to a child as physical abuse or neglect, so her mother could have been terrible to her even when she wasn’t an addict of hitting her or something like that.

I also don’t think you have to be gradeful to your parents. They choose to put you on this earth and by doing this they had the obligation to look after you as a child. You don’t have to be gradeful for that. You can chose to do the same when you are older with regards to your parents, but that is not an obligation imo and you don’t have to feel guilty if you don’t want to do it because they were shitty parents.

With regards to a cure for NPD, as far as I know there is none at the moment, but I hope there will be one day, as they hurt a lot of people, including themselves.

I agree with you- especially parents who abandoned their children. I think it's great if you were treated well by your parents and it's good to love them back and give them what you can but if they didn't then no... I think there's nothing worse than bringing a child on to this world and just completely shit on them.
