I love all of this. I have declined to purchase from brands that cowtow to their paid sales assistants aka YTers. Charlotte Tillbury, Nars, Armani, a lot of the hair care brands (I exclusively use Black owned hair care products), etc. A Lady Dior used to be on my handbag wishlist (I grew up admiring Lady Di’s commitment to charity work and fashion as a child) and I’ve sadly had to remove it because I can’t justify spending money with a brand that ITF, Tamara, Chavette and other influencers are gifted as part of the brands sales strategy. I’d rather invest that money into Hermes, Chanel or LV who do not play ball with these minor league wannabes.Chichibangbang wrote:This victim palaver over a slight cold ( if she actually worked her sickness record would be frighful) is nonsensical.
WTF would a grown woman act like a 3yr old with the doctor??! Strutting and having a stroppy disposition lipsing and making herself sound more juvenile than her 3year old career.
Women are fighting for equal pay and coming out in public about sexual abuse from supreme court nominees. This delinquent immature manner and behaviour is not what any brand ( most of which have PR fronted by career women ) should be associated with.
FFS how can any brand take her seriously? Is this the persona of a "boss lady"?? Hell to the NO!
How can any woman with any self respect look up to this woman and the way she has chosen to act and present herself to the world?
There are women fighting on the frontline in battle, performing brain surgery & finding cures for cancer, flying planes, working in defence and espionage, and having the strength to leave abusive relationships....then there is Lydia.
I just can't.
I went off on a fashion tangent there. None of these people are saving lives. And none of them are truly using their “celebrity” for good except Amelia. She hosts a few events (parties) throughout the year to give back and I can respect that she’s at least getting off her bony behind and doing something altruistic. These women have made themselves relevant by being superficial and shallow. We must remember that when we get irritated about how vapid they present. They arevapid.
