"You can see my texture/how it's looking cakey on my forehead/how it's just sitting on top of my skin here..." No, Taylor. I can see none of that. In her natural lighting check-ins I can see a bit more, SOMETIMES (but sometimes I still wonder wtf she's talking about), but with that lighting in her filming room I see absolutely nothing.

Spoiler alert, she doesn't like the CP stick foundation. She also mixes mascaras because of course she does. At least she fixed the lighting from the last one.

The anti redness drops at actually really bad for your eyes. They constrict the blood vessels to make them appear less red but don't solve the issue. The pharmacist told me to only use them in an emergency (like a job interview or something important)prettylights92 wrote:Deedlemonster wrote:I think it's from her migrainesPanicStation wrote:Has she ever addressed why her eyes always look so red? Sorry, this is random. But it's the only thing I notice when I watch her videos.
I notice this too. Idk why she doesn’t get some visine eyedrops. It’s such an easy fix.

I have this theory that her skin might not be as dry as she makes it out to be. Same as with her paleness, I think she has this image in her head about what she wants to look like, and then tries to create it in her videos or something. She never really goes in depth about other symptoms of her 'dry' skin, like flakiness or tightness, just that her skin type is now 'hella dry'.
She's been saying that her face looks unusually shiny in her past couple of foundation reviews, wonder why..

I thought this too. Hard to tell from a video but maybe her skin is just normal now. I never see any dryness, but then again you can't really see anything because the lights are turned up so bright in her video.joanne wrote:I have this theory that her skin might not be as dry as she makes it out to be. It's just weird how she gets so greasy and oily at the end of the day when her skin is apparently so dry.

I don't know a single thing about Acutane. Does it change your skin forever, or just while you're taking it?
Can she go back to being all broken out again?

Re: ThaPaleaa: Sponsored by Amazon (ThaTaylaa) | Part 4
I’ve been on two rounds of accurate. My skin is still dry and I believe a lot drier than Taylor because I don’t powder and I’m never oily at the end of the day. It changes the way your body produces oil I believe so she should continue to stay drier but I do think there is some return to your normal skin (I’m not sure if I naturally would have had dry/normal skin because I did both rounds when I was 16 and 19).smarlo wrote:I don't know a single thing about Acutane. Yes, acne can and may/probable chance of returning. I would think with the severity of her acne there is a decent chance it will return but hopefully would be nowhere as severe.
After the two rounds, I still get some hormonal acne but it is clear most of the time. I also discovered Silicone broke me out so I believe that helped a lot too. Sorry this is wordy.

I was on accutane in 2017. I did not have any breakouts for 6 months after I stopped taking it.
Now I get them regularly, but not as bad as before. Also my skin went back to oily but not as oily as before.
For some reason I could have sworn Taylor would be one of those people who'd magically get a new skin type, therefore being able to make videos for a brand new category of viewers.
It's because now she has 'knowledge' of all possible skin types..

I think she’s back home. If she has noro they would just get her hydrated and maybe give her some nausea meds.kknope wrote:Yeah she posted on snap that she got the norovirus while she was in Oregon.SugarShack wrote:What’s going on with her? Is she still In the hospital?

Taylor definitely watches here, we literally just mentioned how red her eyes are and recommended she pick up redness drops and in her latest blog she shows that she just bought Visine, addresses her red eyes and said she uses those drops all the time.

Lmao well TAYLOR redness drops make the problem worse! They constrict the blood vessels which are supposed to be bringing blood to the problem to help it. When they can't do that the problem gets worse when the drops wear off. It is a cycle of -drops= needing more drops bc you used them in the first place. Use only the moisture eye drops. the gel ones are awesome and they will make the redness better too. It's not as instant but they bring down irritation and your eyes will look clear and bright when they start workingJezahtea wrote:Taylor definitely watches here, we literally just mentioned how red her eyes are and recommended she pick up redness drops and in her latest blog she shows that she just bought Visine, addresses her red eyes and said she uses those drops all the time.

Yes, gel tears are amazing! Systane brand is the best IMO. I always have them on hand because my eldest pug has a severely dry left eye. I’ve tried them for myself. Way more soothing than redness drops.Raven_nevermore wrote:Lmao well TAYLOR redness drops make the problem worse! I haven't watched that video, but did she really?? What's extra shady then is that I didn't watch the video but I did see her snapchat about it, and she said that if you're not a vlog person to just check out the one she just posted and see if it changes your mind and to try it out. Sneaky bitch, trying to get more traffic to a sponsored video.kknope wrote:I super dug that snuck in Hello Fresh sponsorship in her bonus vlog last night.

Re: ThaPaleaa: Sponsored by Amazon (ThaTaylaa) | Part 4
I decided to stop watching her about a month or so ago when I saw that she's still supporting Kat Von D. I was already sick of her but that was the last straw for me. She used to pretend to care about ethics and social issues and all that shit, but now she's fine with everything as long as it helps her channel/makes her money. I remember watching her old videos and seeing a young woman who would rant about how problematic pageants are, how advertising spoke more about a brand's ethics than their statements, etc. Sure, these aren't groundbreaking observations, but I could tell she at least tried to look past the surface on these topics so she could educate herself. I thought it was pretty neat to see a "beauty guru" actually talk about something different. Now she seems so fucking vapid and basic. She has nothing interesting to say and she has no personality. She tries so hard to convince her audience that she's "quirky" with those one-liners in her intros, but those aren't funny or anything. Wtf happened to her? She became a shell of a person. I'm so disappointed in her. She's'flawed, but she used to have spunk. She had promise. Now she's fitting into this boring ass mold while trying to convince us and herself that she's still "different".

Those "quirky" one liners reeeeally bug me too lol. They seem so forced.. and nobody cares Omg an itch or whatever she announces.Pearbooty wrote:I decided to stop watching her about a month or so ago when I saw that she's still supporting Kat Von D. I agree shes changed. Maybe she has an ego now that her skin has cleared up?? Lol. I'm not sure why I watch her anymore... I don't relate to her at all either.
