"present themselves as professionals" = are incredibly fake. Nikki might be lazy but the reason she's so popular imo is because she presents herself as a real person and not as an image. Youtube/vlogging isn't a professional setting, lets be honest, your job is just to connect with the viewers so to portray yourself as someone you're not is just fake. I do enjoy Heidi but I get the feeling she's very different IRL.

I LOVE Maxx Chewning!! The first time I watched one of his vids I was like yikes, way too hyper, but I've been watching his warehouse series and dude is actually pretty cool. I like that he is smart and motivated but doesn't take himself TOO seriously (and pokes fun at all the douchy stuff people do in their videos anymore, like recording themselves walking from a weird angle)

Unfortunately I doubt he and Nikki would ever get together because he is friends with Christian. It seems like everyone kisses Christian's butt in the fitness youtube arena

Cant see him and nikki together in the slightest. I think she would be more compatible with someone similarly laid back and calm to herself

Ugh is he still? I knew over the summer he seemed to be but she was so like NO WE ARE NOT DATING that I thought maybe he was over it. darn. Though honestly, as much as he makes me laugh I don't think he and nikki would actually be good together.

it wasnt super messy or dramatic. but basically marissa was in her iifym phase and met him through nikki and christian. and very quickly she was all over him, vlogging going to dinner with him and his brother, vlogging him visiting her apartment when in LA, posting pictures lying/sleeping(?) in his bed, making instagram posts of them with captions along of the line of "thank you for being my number one supporter"; essentially making a lot of posts making it seem like they were reasonably serious while I dont believe he posted much of her and definitely didnt give any indication they were anything more than friends. and people would ask him if they were dating he would always say no, we're just friends. One part I did feel bad about was that people were bashing her looks and/or skin pretty ruthlessly on a body building forum he was a part of and he said nothing to defend her save for "we're not dating". in the end he must have said something because she deleted everything with him in it, unfollowed him everywhere, threw some shade when anybody brought him up and hasnt mentioned him since.
