Dupes for Kylie Lip Kits

Not long ago I got asked by a younger friend of mine with no access to a visa card if she gave me the money would I order her Dolce K when it came back into stock. I had a look... 43.95 USD including shipping. Ends up as a little over 60 AUD. I asked her if she realised this and did she really want to pay that much money for one product. She has since told me she didn't realise and doesn't want to do it. I feel a little bad for bursting her bubble but she is young and doesn't quite know how to online shop. I'd like to find a good quality dupe for Dolce K so that I can suggest she try it instead if it's the colour she wants.

Aren't dupes similar products, but cheaper? Every article on Kylie lip kit dupes has some high-end products in it, like can you do a basic math? If a lip kit is 29$, which is almost 30, so lets say 30$. You get both lipstick and liner, which means lipstick costs 15$. Then how on Earth is Gerard Cosmetics, ABH, Jeffree Star and Kat Von D liquid lipsticks dupes when they cost 20$ or more? Too bad Colour Pop is only available in some European countries, I guess I'll try NYX or Milani then.
