Actually, if you read carefully you'll notice the way she says it makes it sound like if you're an atheist automatically you don't believe in the supernatural, ghosts etc.
After all, there was nothing about religion in this. Just about ghosts. She just stated "I'm atheist so, NO I don't believe.....etc."

I do believe in ghosts. I had a rather... creepy experience when I was young.

We used to live in a really old house. I remember always feeling a weird vibe from living there. Every night I would get nightmares. One night, I decided to sleep with my parents. (I did this quite a lot because I felt scared in the house) I wasn't able to fall asleep so I just lied there. Suddenly, (this is gonna sound so fake :? ) these transparent doll like figures started to appear around the room. After about five minutes, they disappeared. I then felt this uncomfortable urge to look at the ceiling, and when I did there was this dark image of a skull. I pulled the blanket over my head and closed my eyes. No, it gets better. :( When I went back to look from under the blanket, it seemed rather calm until something started crawling underneath the covers. I could see the movement but I didn't feel any feet. The thing then started crawling towards my face and I quickly threw the cover off me. There was nothing there. I didn't tell my parents because I felt they wouldn't believe me.

I didn't feel the ghosts were evil. I just think they were attracted to me because I was a child. I was easy to pick on. When we moved, that's when the experiences, the vibes, and the nightmares stopped completely. I've been fascinated ever since. :)

My friend has a mom that is supposedly a medium. She told me once a long time ago I have a spirit around me and I truly believe its my grandmother. Her name is Emma and before she died she told me she always be with me.

One night I was driving home and my car broke down and my phone had died, naturally I was freaking out. About ten minutes later a woman pulls over and lets me use her cellphone and waited with me while a tow truck came, she also gave me twenty bucks in case I was hungry and wanted to get something to eat. I thanked her for kindness and asked her what her name was and she said it was Emma.

Another occasion:
I worked at a Friendlys in my town as a waitress that burned down over the Summer,it was completely destroyed. Someone threw their cigarette in the mulch without properly putting it out and it caught fire and spread really quickly. It happened about 30 minutes after my shift was over. Well all during work I was thinking about my grandmother and looked at some pictures of her the minute I got home. and not twenty minutes later I got a call telling me I no longer had a job haha no one got hurt in the fire thank god, but I really believe I have a guardian angel. :)

I'm an agnostic, but I have had personal experiences with the paranormal so I believe those things exist. The 2 biggest experiences:

1. When I was 19, my grandpa died. We had not been on very good terms when he passed, and I carried a lot of guilt about that for a long time. My parents had me and my bf (who I lived with at the time) come stay at the house to take care of their dogs while they were taking care of his estate 12 hours away. The first night I got off work and went in the house... I didn't have any creepy vibes or reason to be afraid because he hadn't died in our house and he lived in southern california near Long Beach, and we lived in Nor Cal near San Francisco.... well, it felt strange in the house. The air was thick and I started to get a light headache and some light nausea. I also felt really drained. I ended up taking a nap in my room, and when I woke up 2 hours later the feelings were intensified. I decided to take a bath to relax, but the heat just made my nausea worse. I heard my bf come over, so I put on my robe and went downstairs to see him. He had brought some dinner and was sitting on the couch eating. I went into the kitchen to heat mine up, and when I turned around his jaw was dropped and his face was white! I freaked out and literally jumped over the kitchen counter and onto the couch with him and asked "what's wrong?!?!?!" He told me that he'd just seen a short man in dark clothes standing in the doorway... it was close enough to touch me as we were only separated by a wall. We heard a noise so I put the tv on mute and we listened... we started to hear footsteps upstairs and then this loud BOOM!!!!! I've never heard anything sooo loud in my life! I though my parents' old school heavy tv had fallen off the stand upstairs! I started screaming and stood up to run out of the house... I ran towards the back door because I would have to pass by where he saw the figure to go out the front door, and at this point we thought an actual person had broken into the house! I ran to the sliding back door and right when I was about to swing it open, the speaker-phone on the landline telephone right next to me turned on and loud feedback screeched through the room, and then the phone literally like blew a circuit and it shocked at me and turned off... I screamed even louder, grabbed the door and ran out screaming! My bf grabbed the keys and we drove back to our place, me in only my robe (no shoes and nothing underneath my robe lol) and him without his phone or shoes... we had left all the lights on and the tv was on, so we had to go back later. I called my parents and told them what happened. They got pissed at me for bothering them with nonsense and told me to go back... I begged to have a police escort check out the house first in case a burglar was inside, but he told me he'd kick my ass if I called the police and I believed him. My bf was 6ft 9inches tall, but the pussy made ME go in first holding a metal baseball bat. I searched the whole house alone while he stood by the front door downstairs, and I found nothing! No person, nothing moved, nothing to explain the loud noise. I closed up and locked up the house. I had to plug the phones back in, but the answering machine wasn't working right. It wasn't until then that I realized my grandpa had been a short man that always wore dark clothes... I wonder if it was him. Then a few nights later, the footsteps upstairs went on all night... and then something was shaking the stair bannister in the middle of the night for HOURS. It scared the shit out of my ex bf lol. One day around 4pm I took a nap (that bad energy feeling in the house always made me so drained) and their dog was on the bed with me. Out of nowhere the door swung open violently, but stopped just short of slamming into the wall and punching a hole in it. Then I could feel someone watching me and I could even tell where in the room the thing was... the dog started barking and ran out of the room, so I did too lol.
My parents spent the better of 2 months down south taking care of everything, but when they finally got back they started experiencing things. My mom heard the "BOOM" thing 3 times! I have a chronic illness and I have been known to faint, so she came running thinking I'd gotten hurt but I was sitting on her computer printing out a paper for school. The next time she heard it, I was at my apartment with my bf so she knew it wasn't me... but couldn't find any explanation for the noise. Then she and my dad both heard it one night while watching tv... Also, here's the scariest part. The phone that had malfunctioned while I was there started doing this weird thing anytime I came over... the speakerphone would turn on and screech... I would pull into the driveway, and my parents would know I was there because the speakerphone would go off. It started to become an inside joke between my parents, but it freaked me the fuck out. This went on for YEARS until they moved to a new house, and now I live there with them because my illness has progressed and I can't afford an apartment on my disability GA. The same phone never did that again once it wasn't in the old house anymore.

2. I was in a near-fatal car accident when I was 17, a senior in high school. I lost control on a freeway onramp and t-boned an 18 wheeler semi-truck, got stuck underneath it, and dragged for about 100 ft before I spun out and ended up facing oncoming traffic in the breakdown lane. I had to be pulled out of the driver's side window, but I wasn't injured other than a deep cut on my knee. I've only told a few people this, but when the accident happened I remember seeing the truck and thinking "OH FUCK, I'm going to hit the truck!" and then this insane calm came over me and I remember thinking very matter-of-factly "So THIS is how I'm going to die... a car accident in high school" and I wasn't at all afraid and totally accepted the fact that I wasn't going to make it out of this one. Then when the windshield broke out and the airbag went off and I SAW this being... it was a woman with a white glow, but it was only her face and long flowing hair... it took up the whole front of my car. I can't really explain it. She looked into my eyes and spoke to me through our minds, not moving her lips or speaking out loud... she said, "Don't worry, you're not going to die tonight. Just hold on." And then it was gone, and then I was in the ditch and it was over. I don't know what that was, but I'm guessing some kind of guardian angel/spirit. I do not believe in any organized religion, so I very hesitantly call it an angel... but that's the closest explanation I can give. Here are 2 pics of my car... the paramedics thought for sure I was dead or in critical condition, but I walked away with minor injuries. Nobody that saw my car could believe I was ok... when I went to get my belongings out of my car at the towyard, they asked how the driver was and if they'd made it out alive. I told them that I was the driver and they were shocked and said they were sure the driver had definitely died, and they see wrecked cars every day. I was lucky and possibly protected by that being.

Certainly :) So it was pretty much just a face... the face was much bigger than a human face, at least 2-3x bigger. Everything was grey and white, but mostly white. She looked to be in her 30s. She was semi-transparent because I could see the truck behind her and the hood of my car. Everything was very bright white and looked almost like those pictures in which one photo is transparent on top of another photo (double exposure photos), like this one I found online **It's posted at the bottom, not sure how to move it up**

She had long hair that was flowing around the face. It was white as well. She spoke to me telepathically and her voice was really soothing and pretty... she told me that I wasn't going to die and to brace myself for the impact essentially. Right after that, she was gone and it was dark again... I was underneath the truck and the windshield and airbags went off, causing a massive amount of wind which blew my hair everywhere! I held myself still and closed my eyes. When I opened them again, I was facing oncoming traffic and my center console was in my lap.

I do not know what I saw... I don't claim to know what I saw... But I KNOW that I saw it and that it happened. It was very intense but also very very real. I kept it private for over 6 months until I had plastic surgery on my knee, and I told my bf about what had happened. I guess because I knew it was real I didn't need any validation. I have since told several people... some believe me, some don't... but I don't care because I know that it happened :)

Had too many to count so yes I believe. 3 that I can think of from the top of my head are:

-Chain dragging sounds from the attic while we were trying to sleep at my ex boyfriends grandparents place that was originally a school from when all grades were in one room so it was at least 150 years old.

-My accordian door when I was still living at my parents that shook violently one night at 3 am yet there was never an earthquake and we were in a residential zone so trains/trucks is out. Once I opened it, it stopped.

- Most recent one was in my current home where my blinds lifted by themselves like how when someone puts their head behind it and it's not flimsy material blinds, they're the non cheap horizontal ones that you need to pull on a string to raise.

And a believer in Ufology as I've seen and experienced stuff that can't be explained.

Plus, the world is too full of mysteries to think things are black and white. Just because it can't be explained doesn't make it impossible.

Just my 2 cents ;)

Thanks! It was pretty crazy, especially if you saw the pics of my car on page 1. One thing I know for sure is that when you really truly think your time is up and you're about to face death, you accept it and are calm about it... not scared or unsure. Many people who have had similar experiences say the same thing. It was a nice feeling because when my time DOES come, I don't want to be scared :)

Well I believe that supernatural things happen.

People call this sleep paralysis but whenever I experienced it, it wasnt just I couldnt move, i also some scary shit.
One night i was asleep and the paralysis had hit me. I was like dang it and couldnt move except for opening my eyes. And there was a girl sitting on top of my legs. She was pale with long black hair, like the girl from the ring. She was just staring at me in a really menacing way. I surprisingly didnt freak out too much and just kept on going oh shit!!! Oh shit!!! in my head bc u cant talk either when ur under the paralysis. Then I started just saying jesus' name over and over again until i was able to move a finger, which freed me from the paralysis.

^ That sounds really scary. I've heard of sleep paralysis, and something like that would really freak me out. I have sleep apnea, so I stop breathing around 38times an hour and it mostly just makes me really tired all the time... I'd much rather have that than be stuck like a prisoner in my own body. That is just way scary to me. Not to mention whatever it is you saw that one time. Many people have described being held down or sat on by spirits.

I want to say no, but i'm afraid i will get the karma then ghost decided to show up in front of me.
So, i would say, i believe ghost exist but i didn't think too much about their existence.
when I was a kids, I really scared of ghosts. Maybe because i read goosebumps too much. but when i grew up, i think people are scarier sometimes, I scared myself with my own existence too. I think i'm an evil myself. LLG (Laughing like a ghost)

Not to sound like a dork but yes!!!When I was younger I always heard things and saw shadows in my parents home. I still to this day sometimes feel a presence watching me. I've seen a ghost once walking in another room when I was home alone. My heart literally stopped when it happen while my brain was trying to make sense of what I seen.
And so I cry sometimes when I'm lying in bed...Just to get it all out, what's in my head...And I, I am feeling a little peculiar...And so I wake in the morning and I step outside...And I take a deep breath and I get real high...And I scream from the top of my lungs..."What's going on?"...
