Freelee is such a hypocrite. Saying all of this crap about anyone who shaves is just brain washed by society. Saying that shaving keeps you from being your 'authentic self' and how only 'real' men can handle the hair. I shave because I like it. Sometimes I won't shave for weeks because I can't be bothered and don't really care, society has nothing to do with it. I shave when I feel like it. She's also mentioned how expensive shaving is. I buy reusable mens cartridges from Aldi for about $7 which lasts me over 6 months, so I'm not sure what she's on about.
Meanwhile this non-shaving 'authentic' person has plastic lumps in her chest that she flaunts in 90% of her videos. If she's so concerned with being authentic then she would remove them, it's no more drastic a surgery than getting them put in. But then she'd be flat chested and I guess she wants more sex appeal to sell herself.
She also posted this video about how she used to spend so many hours getting the 'perfect' photos for Instagram but how she will no longer deceive people with such images yet reposted one of the photos on Instagram only 3 weeks ago. How can you all the sudden be so against posed photos yet use them for likes so recently.
She's so inauthentic. A genuine person does not have such massive changes in opinions and thoughts so quickly. She either tries to keep relevant or to stir up controversy.
Another thing that's really annoyed me is how she has disabled comments on her YouTube videos because she doesn't want people to be influenced by other people's opinions.... It's ridiculous to take away the platform for people to express their thoughts. She obviously wants people to blindly follow her advice without the chance of being influenced or challenged by anyone else. It's sad.
Also I hate how she tries to use studies to back up her claims. She obviously does not have any experience on how to find quality papers. In one example she is using an article from a consumer magazine that is talking about a study. If you're going to talk about a study then reference the actual study not a journalist interpretation of the study. That's just poor practise. But seeing how her only education is apparently certificate 4 or diploma from AIAF, I'm not surprised she is unclear on how to find, appraise, interpret and draw conclusions from credible sources.

She also believes she can leave them in forever without removal or replacement despite nearly every credible plastic surgeon recommending otherwise.

Another thing is that she can't even be arsed to make up a hashtag for this hollow Essena O'niel ripoff stunt. She asks her followers to make one up for her. Now, there's nothing wrong with being a little uncreative (BananaGirl is stupidly simple) but what she's doing is just lazy. Believe it or not, Freelee, but women have been posting their armpit hairs on Instagram for a good while now.

Where's the evidence? Where's the before photos? 'it's on the surgeon's papers'... that's the adult equivalent of 'you can even ask my mum'. She had an extremely mild case, if at all. A boob job wasn't medically necessary for any reason. She said her boob job only took an hour. If she had such an interesting and deformed chest wall the it would take longer, than a standard boob job, to make appropriate chest wall pockets for the implants to sit in. She did it for self esteem, she said so herself. She got an expensive, invasive procedure to feel better about herself but shaving is too hardcore and conformative. Please... she's such a joke. I need these boobs for my self esteem, these fake boobs I flaunt everywhere but you must be you true authentic self. Well girl, you were born with a non life limiting, minor chest wall deformity and at the weight you are you would be flat chested so how the fuck are you authentic? 'I'm happier with this modification than being the person I was born to be' 'but I just want to remind you girls that you don't need to change yourself to be happy' hahahaha

With this new feminist phase, people aren't going to mistake Freelee for being someone in her twenties anymore. In some of her old videos she would light up when someone expressed shock at her actual age. I wouldn't say she looks horrible for someone wearing no makeup but her past definitely contributed to her appearance. Excessive sugar, UV exposure, and botox have made her look a little older than she actually is.

Bit off topic, but High Carb Hannah does it too, or at least she always used to mention how young people said she looked. No. She looks her age. And it's not an insult, it's not as if she's old. A Privileged Vegan isn't really to my taste either, but I remember in a video somewhere she talked about how vegans behave as if veganism is the fountain of youth and they all OMG look like teenagers. It's just another cheap hook to try and drag people into veganism, and make people feel crappy if they don't "measure up." The age thing is so bogus anyway. I see teenagers with laugh lines and bags and people in their 40s without much in the way of that. Often I think it's the actual shape of the face and size of the features that contribute to whether you look young or not. But so many HCLF/raw type vegans get sooooo thin that it ages them like crazy.

People regularly tell me I look 10-15 years younger than I am, and it SUCKS. I am never taken seriously or treated like an adult. Everyone tells me that someday I'll be glad I look so young, but no. Those of us who actually look much younger than our age don't take it as a compliment. In fact, it's usually slung at me as an insult, implying that I'm just a little girl who doesn't know what she's doing and doesn't deserve to be treated like a big girl.

If she really couldn't afford it then she wouldn't be in South America right now, she'd be back in Aus on the dole. She could put a sale on her ebooks and watch the money roll in. How can the cognitive dissonance be so strong that she can acknowledge the toxicity of makeup products yet doesn't worry about foreign objects being in her body for 15 years?
