At least they started putting the filming date in the description since they aren't following their usual "post a day after filming" routine.

I have no idea how many new people watch each day, but today's vlog seemed to be geared towards only new viewers with Mary's description of her disease and showing all the antibiotics etc. She talks to the viewers like she's lecturing them but I highly doubt there that many new viewers. I don't need to hear the shock when some of the bandages are too large...OMG, what will we do???? Whew, luckily there were some smaller ones. And Peter shows just the right amount of shocked reaction when Mary complains.

Do they really sell so many new items when they launch "new" products that they needed a friend to come visit to help with the packing etc? Putting the old phrase, I choose joy, on a hat really doesn't seem like a new product but I guess their supporters will want to have every hat they sell.

Mary, I know you read here. You don't look like you are in high school. Peter has aged about 20 years in two. You act younger than a high school kid, but you don't look young....at all. Whoever told you that was lying.

I completely agree with you! Just because you act like a nine year, does not mean that you look like one!
My 37 year old daughter, mum to three little girls and a pharmacist, looks younger than Mary does! It's wishful thinking on Mary's part, part of her need to be Peter Pan. Eating at child's table in the kitchen, the obsession with tiny things, banging on about nostalgia as a way to show her school lunchbag and so on, the squealing at "little birdies", her nursery style diet - 'all the things'. Needing to be a child does not mean that you can pass for one.
To be honest, more often than not, she would pass for a frail little old lady, especially when you see her walking or curled up in bed.
Peter looks as if he is in his late thirties, he is definitely showing signs of aging of late.

How on Earth did she get the idea she looks like she's in high school? Her life choices (the ones she CAN control) have made her look super old. Eating crap and not looking after your body can do that to you. Peter looks really old and very unhappy.

It's interesting to see how their greed for money has consumed them.

I watched another video, a medical unboxing, I lasted until she introduced herself (why do that?) .Much medical porn.

Can someone who has CF or knows more about tell me if it is common to throw up all over the place. Today's vlog was about Mary not feeling good and being aware she didn't feel good. She had Peter come up to the bath room to tell him she didn't feel good. Then threw up in the bathroom, hallway, bedroom, and sink. How does that happen? Why can't she throw up in a bucket or the toilet?

I have CF and no, it isn’t common to throw up all over the place. Sometimes you might have to throw up in a place that isn’t a bucket or a bathroom but Mary does it way too often.

Because she's a lazy a**. She's had this since 10 months old and she's 30 now. Yet she doesn't know that she's coughs enuf to gag and vomit? Who in their right mind would put up with this crap. Not anyone that I know. She thinks she's entitled to do anything she wants with NO REGARD for what she's putting Peter thru. This is so thoroughly disgusting and it makes me so mad I could spit! If it were me she would be carrying a throw-up container like the hospitals use or she would be cleaning up her own vomit.

I don't know anyone or follow anyone with CF on social media, but how many require a full time caregiver? That's basically what Peter is. I know she went to school and was a nanny, but is her condition so severe now that she can't take care of herself at all?

I'm surprised she didn't have anyone stay with her when he went to NC but, he's just a skype call away so she really wasn't alone.....same as texting from the bathtub. He's on call 24/7 but he doesn't seem to mind. She's very lucky that he is as kind as he is. But I definitely agree about having something for the vomit. Why leave the bathroom when you feel sick. They talk about how she vomits in bed at night so they have to wash all the sheets.....gross.

Maybe they have a co-dependent relationship. Peter, being a pastor, is programmed to be needed and offer comfort and Mary definitely fills that requirement.

At first I thought maybe it just never occurred to her that she should keep a bucket nearby to puke into. But she does it successfully when in the hospital! I'm guessing they wouldn't put up with Mary throwing up everywhere. But that means she definitely knows how to keep something nearby... WHY THA FUCK. WOULD YOU NOT DO THAT IN YOUR OWN HOME?!?? WHYYYYY does Peter put up with it. Say something man! You don't have to spend half your life cleaning vomit! Jesus wouldn't want that for you dude!

I don't know if the new vlog will be current, but Mary posted on her IG that she had to be admitted to the hospital Sun afternoon due to medication reactions and blood counts. Well, at least Peter will be able to rest a bit rather than having to get all her meds ready etc etc. I know he sleeps at the hospital to take care of Ollie, but she would probably want him there anyway even if she didn't have a service dog.

I have CF and it's not common at all to throw up everywhere. Ive gotten sick multiple times and I know when to make a beeline for the bathroom.

I think the only time i didn't make it, was when my Kidneys were out of wack and I ate breakfast that morning, did some house work, and felt lightheaded from low blood sugar. Checked it and went from 100 to 35 in less than an hour. All I remember from that day was missing the trashcan, my fiance doing finger sticks to test, me going to the bathroom but ended up missing getting it on the wall and carpet. My fiance kept telling me to try to eat and drink something after doing glucagone and nothing stayed down. So he called the paramedics and I stayed at my CF clinic hospital for a week because my kidneys were at 4.0 instead of 1.2. which is why my insulin went in to over drive and my body produced too much along with the insulin I had done for my meal that morning.

It was crazy and I haven't had any issues since with my kidneys (fingers crossed) but I remember begging my doctors to let me go because it was Valentine's day and I had my class for Vet school. They were persistent about keeping me for 2 weeks straight, but after doing sweet talking and basically telling them I had school still and couldn't miss any days, they released me after it was cleared by every doctor I saw that week, but we compromised and they said ok BUT I had to come back the next day, and be admitted for another 3-4 days so they do more testing. So my sickly self went to school that night, packed a bag when I got home, went to bed and came in there the next night with my school work and to go bag and made myself comfy for the next 3-4 days. While my fiance dropped me off and went to work during those 4 days. Lol

So no, it's not common. A 5 year old knows to go to a trashcan or bathroom. She's just lazy and acts like a 5 year old who's been coddled way too much. Which bothers me big time with her, she knows what triggers her gag reflex, she knows when she get sick. She just chooses not to do anything about it.

This is another thing that bugs me. What does she need Ollie for when she's at the hospital? She can't leave her room anyway, and there's nothing he can do for her in that situation. Never mind the fact that Ollie is more of a pet than a service dog anyway. And even if he was a proper service dog that does all these things he's trained for. In that particular case it's still unnecessary for him to be there. You don't have to stubbornly insist on having him there, even when no one can say a word against it because he's a service dog. A part of a good dog owner is, for me personally, to check all the pros and cons before you act irrationally and that includes checking on whether you truly can't live a few days or weeks without him. If anything, Ollie is an emotional companion. I'd give her that if she just admitted it. Also, that dog's tasks are ridiculous if you ask me. He looks depressed and in my opinion, he'd probably be a terrific service dog to someone who actually needs one. That girl would be lost if it weren't for Peter. She couldn't do shit if he wasn't there. She wouldn't be able to care for herself, let alone her dog and all the parts that come with being a dog owner. She'd probably let him run out the door and do his "better hurry" somewhere on the lawn, while she's puking all over the house and no one will be there to clean up either mess.

Vet Girl I agree with your comment. I cannot wait until she checks into Duke as an inpatient especially if it's for something other than the actual transplant. It will be interesting to learn of their policies regarding overnight stays for adult patient's relatives. What if Peter and Ollie (for some reason) cannot stay. OMG!!! Will she throw a major adult tantrum? Will she show her 5 yr. old self and try to talk her way into getting what she wants? Will they call for reinforcements to help? Can't wait until she is treated like an adult and is expected to act like one.

Something I was surprised about - it seems strange that Mary is having sinus surgery so soon after her previous one. It has barely been 10 months. Her health is not good and it seems like it will take a lot out of her or be dangerous to put her body through that. Maybe this is not unusual for CF - just wondering.

Long time lurker and all that
I wonder if a lot of the reactions Mary has are due to her thinking? She might 'think' her way into being so ill, like if she thinks she will be so sick, she will be?
I wonder how she's going to handle having a lung transplant if she can't handle the tests and having IV antibiotics?

Howdy all,

Doesn't this thread cap out at 40 pages? If so, I think we need to plan a new thread before we run out of space. Lol

Speaking of the puking thing, someone commented on it and it got a lot of replies, and then it went missing of course. I commented on the admission one how sad i find it that they delete comments, but it hasn’t been noticed yet
