One more thing, it's easy to tell that he's been reading here at the end of the video when he's driving. He defends his relationship with Alex, defends his age and being on YT, says he never looks at his analytics. Stuff we talk about here. He kept talking up his nice his comments are I guess to make him feel better about what is said here. He also said his followers are so kind. Peter said Justin Timberlake looked so old, I know I'm old but my god he was awful looking. They talked about Britney spears while Alex sat on his phone the entire time, probably daydreaming about better men. Then Peter asked Alex "britney spears is older than you. is it weird to you that Britney is that old?" Alex goes "no its weird to me that youre that old!"

Peter than says "I'm the exact same age as Eminem." Alex goes "yeah and look at Eminem...." Then Peter tries to rap. Just had to go ahead and share that. Still watching. The shade Alex! The shade! It might have came off a good hearted humor but the way he was annoyed by Peter's dumb questions and sat on his phone....alex, blink twice if you need us to save you!

It seems Alex knows how to push Peters button : Tease him about his age. That he is old.

I fell asleep watching that vlog What I did catch is that Peter is forever touching his hair. And if he don't leave that little girl alone. She said she deleted all her yt videos cuz she was bored. Let her have a life and not sit in her room 24/7, Peter. FFS, he wants everyone to be as boring as he is.

As far as Alex, if he is only 33, Peter got with him when he was in his early 20s. That's pretty young to be with someone "forever" imo. If they are in a monogamous relationsihip , I wish them well and not to stereotype, but when there is an age gap, someone is going to get bored. They are at different life stages.

Books, gambling at the casino, making videos, and watching other people's videos have replaced his substance abuse addictions. I remember him mentioning in a video from a long time ago (no way I can remember which one it was since his videos are practically all the same and the titles almost never relate to what he talks about) where he was driving around in the daytime and he briefly mentioned the fact that he has an obsessive personality and even brought up making videos as a new obsession.

Like someone on here mentioned before, he's the epitome of a dry drunk.

I completely agree with you that he's a dry drunk. The thing that bothers me the most about him talking about his addiction and recovery is how much he seems to look down on dry drunks, as if they can snap any day just because they don't attend 20 AA meetings like he does. I've never struggled with addiction myself so I'm in no way offering a specialist opinion or anything, but it just annoys me how he always thinks he has the moral high ground on people who don't attend meetings. Hey Peter, not everyone's been lucky enough to have their father pay for rehab, flats, groceries etc while getting sober. Some people are dry drunks probably because they haven't had the privileges you've had and have had to work, feed a family, go to college etc while also battling their addiction with very little support. Those people's sobriety is just as important as that of people who go to AA meetings, period.

Yeah, I think it's pretty obvious that Peter is one of those addicts who detoxed and managed to quit the dangerous substances but never actually got to the root of what it was that made them run to drugs in the first place. Since his mom was an alcoholic herself, he said he was introduced to alcohol at a really young age. At like 12 I think he said. OK, so maybe he didn't "run" to alcohol for a reason and that addiction was kind of imposed on him against his will. But his supposed other addictions from when he was older had to come from somewhere. He's talked about having been a really lonely kid with no friends, he was insecure about his sexuality for a while, etc. etc. I think it's painfully clear that he still struggles with not accepting himself. Maybe he's come to terms with his sexuality but does he like himself as a person as a whole?

He seems desperate for approval, popularity, attention in general, coming off as young (or being embraced by young people), proving that his husband loves him, and making sure that people know about his accomplishments (of which there aren't many). Everyone has their own activities that they like for escapism, but Peter seems like he spends his whole day escaping his reality. Whether it's reading/listening to audiobooks for way too many hours, exaggerating his life stories on Youtube, and watching other people's videos for hours. Is the man literally ever present in the moment? Instead of spending time with his husband after he gets home from work, Peter runs to Younow when he's already spent probably the majority of his day on the internet.

Like ok Peter, your new addictions might not be dangerous. You're not gonna overdose from listening to too many audiobooks. But you still don't have a balanced life, you still have no self-control and are super obsessive about every new activity that you like, and you obviously still have issues you're trying to run from.

On his peterisms channel he is explaining why he took a day off. Like anyone cares that you took one day to not make 4 hours of the same thing you've done for the past year. In the video before the 3 min mark he says "I'm so driven," when talking about what all he does. Driven Peter? Hahahaha. I'm sure you're all rolling your eyes with me on that one. If he was driven, he'd learn to edit his videos and produce quality content.

"What's the quality of the work that I'm putting out? What's the quality of the message that I'm putting out there into the world?" Yes, he questioned that in regards to not having a break from his 4 videos. Seriously? His videos are the same thing every day. He sits, talks about the same thing every video and just uploads it. The qualoty of the work and message is crap, peter. Its repetitive, unappealing, crap. I've been saying the dude would do well since people seem to fall for him if he'd learn to edit, vlog outside of the car, do something exciting, do some real research.

Peter, driven?

His first book came out in 2014 and he's been saying his second was coming out practically every season since and it still hasn't.

I think he said he was definitely going to publish it this year. We'll see.
