Okay, I didn't want to address this. I tried avoiding it, brushing it off as not a big deal. But something about that just irks me. Maybe it's because subconsciously I know that while ASMR videos are meant to be relaxing, they are also frequented by weirdos and perverts. And part of it is due to the fact that she made such a big deal about keeping her children off the Internet just a few months ago.

I don't know, I can't put my finger on it, but just something about filming your children and incorporating them into your ASMR videos doesn't seem 100% kosher to me. I guess it feels like it leaves them vulnerable and/or exposed when you just put your kids on the Internet like that. It just feels like something you shouldn't do. Am I the only one thinking this?

Oh my gooseness, you just painted the picture in my eye! I had nearly forgotten that she advertises her 18+ Patreon and Tumblr pages in the description box of every video. That is so totally messed up. And once something is on the Internet, it's out there forever. People download and re-post videos all the time. She clearly doesn't think before she acts (or speaks, for that matter).

Wow, really? That would be such a paradox, because from what I understand, Chyna was inspired to do ASMR by Karuna and she uses a number of her techniques in her videos. So, I suppose that would be like the two of them complimenting each other. Which, as a standalone concept, I think is cool.

I know this has been addressed so many times already on this thread alone, but she seems to be showing her kids obsessively on her social media, I don't think she's had a snapchat where her kids WEREN'T in it. It just bugs me cause she mad such a huge deal about not showing them and then all of a sudden you can't go on any of her accounts and not see them

I completely agree, and also to add to the fact that she makes money from these videos, so she’s basically exposing her own children to make money.. whatever. I feel bad for them, the kids don’t have a say if they want to be exposed to thousands of people, and when they’re adults and look back on that video(s), and see what they’re associated with (a mother that exposes wayyyy too much detail about herself..) they may be very angry at her (among her reasons). And just like everything karuna says she plans to stick to, the whole “you will never see another pic/video of my children ever again! I’m not exposing them to the internet, we want privacy, blah blah” didn’t last very long!

Oh well, her “fame” will eventually sizzle away in a few years, when she becomes too old and washed up to be as hip and cool as the 12 yr olds that idolize her, then that might save her children too, she may give them more attention and love since she won’t be on the Internet all day and exposing herself in different ways! That hits the nail on the head. While it does remind me of something Cloveress would've done, for as much of an egdy 4Chan memelord as she was, she at least had an eccentric personality and was genuinely funny with her improv. Karuna's comedic style is more akin to those awkward teen comedy films directed by people in their 40s and 50s who have no idea what real teenagers actually find humorous.

And honestly, if you were to roleplay as a teenaged character, why would you choose a program as trashy as Teen Mom? That is just not a good look.
