I’m just watching this now and saw that at least he’s credited GG & Yada!

Just watching Mango tea's video and I have a question for Yada, I remember reading the barcode post, but I can't remember if the research proved that it was from Aurora cosmetics? Can anyone confirm?

Yeah, a few things about that. I normally like Mango Tea and his spin on things, but I was a little disappointed when I saw it in his video. Here's why

1.) A smaller drama channel suspected early on that Kuckian Cosmetics was using Aurora as a private label. Tea Spill saw this video, yanked it and put it on her channel, and it was probably the most poorly received video she's done, as this time, she wasn't taking receipts from GG.

2.) Although the swatches appear similar on camera, the formulations are different. They do say though, "any design cardboard/paper eyeshadow can be customized as per your request," but I feel like the language isn't very clear there. Are you customizing the packaging it comes in? Or are you customizing the formulations? It's also unclear if Kuckian's products perform the same as Aurora.



3.) The options to customize products look nothing like John's final result. I feel like it would be a huge mess for him to get the cosmetics here and the packaging elsewhere if it's a private label.

4.) As yada said here: (viewtopic.php?f=540&t=33175&p=2814901&h ... e#p2814901), Aurora cosmetics denied in an email to another GGer supplying Kuckian Cosmetics. The person who pulled the information pulled the wrong number, and was incorrect about the way the barcode system works.

That said, his cosmetics were still made in China, and I give Mango some credit for properly citing his source of information.

I've ordered some from that Phoera line and another that looks to be the same generic but under a different name cos we know the colours and swatches are identical and they behave similarly. I doubt there'll be much useful info (see all the blaaaah about badging above) but we just may get an ingredient list we can trace back from.

Of course, it could just be a coincidence that generics from PRC are EXACTLY the same colours as Kookicrap. Whodathunk it? Only prob is, it usually takes three weeks to a month to get here, so will probly be very old news by then. That's if they get here at all

Anyone have any ideas how I can order from Crooky without giving up my deets? No way do I want him knowing my name and addy, but I can't ask a mate to "borrow" theirs for the same reasons. If anybody has a lightbulb moment, let me know

What is an electricity card?

It's a card you take to the shop, load an amount of money onto and then insert into a meter at home.
Rather then get monthly/quartely bills it's like pay as you use electric.
It's also done with what we call keys (kind of resemble a key but not really) and gas can be done that way too.

Wow that sounds awful. Can't imagine power going out at 3am. Obviously if it's the norm people obviously know how to ration.

I'm not surprised that him (and a few others) have dropped their plans to make a video on him. The Peter Monn drama is old news now and tbh what more is there to say? Especially from people outside the beauty community.

I do still want someone with a big enough platform to dig into his past, the same way TheJosh did, and to also expose more of the scammery that is going on with his company.

This is the second time Nadi has looked for Private Labeling from Kuckian so if any new companies spring up he may be willing to buy them and see, or someone can send them to him since he already ordered the Kuckian ones.

On their website auroracos is proclaiming that not only they have three plants in China, but they also have a partnership with twenty other manufacturers. It could be that the Kuckian stuff is actually a mixture of different manufactures, yet under the main guidance of auroracos. That would explain the barcode which is necessary for the shipping process so I don’t think the barcode is fake.

Also this asking for money is disgusting. I would NEVER ask for money, ever. I would jokingly say, give me a million dollars or something but it would CLEARLY be a joke. If they offered me anything I would refuse whereas you can see John would take all the handouts he could get. He is one of these boys that don't grow up. His followers must be akin to those of Logan Paul (I didn't know who he was until he was on the news haha), but i figure they have to be young like that and see him doing no wrong despite everything they do going against how society works. All I know is that when things on youtube end for them, they are gonna get a rude shock and I hope I am there to laugh at them.

I always feel strange when someone is asking for money, those gofundme or Tumblr's paypal posts... In most cases these are people who happen to be in really bad times and in need of those money, and if someone is willing to donate, what's my problem? But it somehow doesn't sound right to me.


Here I am, shyly thinking about taking second cat (costs, vet, food, etc) and thinking should I buy a new book or should I save those money for "dark hour", and here are people who are asking others for luxury items without having ANY job. I get that right now a laptop is a much needed thing, but I remember when I was using comps at library, when I was buying clothes at SHs, reading borrowed books, buying food that has reduced prices, etc. etc. You know, regular things you do when your budget is tight. I wasn't asking others for money, justadjusting my needs a bit. There is nothing wrong if you need cash for medicines, flat, food- those things are a must. Super expensive computer is not. Bday party is not a must.

John, learn to live as most of us live. You won't be a celebrity, sorry.

If you think about it tho, when youtubers make videos and they get information from Guru Gossip, they they have to first get the information, then film the video and then edit and upload. So for them to get the vid out there it takes a while. Also a lot of those subscribers don't use guru gossip, so they get their information first from Youtube.

Completely agree, John if you can't afford your car insurance get the bus like the rest of us instead of scamming your child followers out of their pocket money. Public transport in Manchester is pretty good so you don't even need a car.

But asking for money while you are doing nothing to get a job if you are healthy is... wrong?


There was a person who wrote a very tearful post about starving, hard situation. There were pics of their pets who were also starving, with caption "it's not all of our pets".
It really angered me. I love animals. I would love to have at least 4 cats and it would be possible with my flat, and with my earnings. That is- if all of them would be healthy. Because vets are so expensive here, and I know that 2 is the most I can have. Any more- and if emergency happens, I would have to borrow money from my family or friend. So as I wrote I am slowly considering getting second cat.
We cannot have it all. We have to balance our live's costs and what we can have. Like Helenaders said- if car is too expensive for you, sell it. If you are living in city, you usually can live without it.
I think that we are too dependable on others and when cirisis hits (and let's face it, John is at "red alarm" stage) all we can think of is asking on internet.

Or maybe I am just judging because I got some infection, and should stay quiet.

I think there are certain situation where it is ok to ask for money. Like those fundraising for kids whose parents have died or situations like that. What John is doing is begging for luxuries.

He is the spawn of a comfortably middle class family and is entitled and expects something for nothing. He is not on the same level as the people who truly need the money.
