I think Joe could be the only gleamer who could still have a career after YouTube. He could be a voice actor, or act in films himself.

I agree, that he could be mainstream, he's talented/good looking enough with his singing/voicing/etc and he seems to not be affected by any criticism (although to be fair, he probably has the least) and still enjoy making the vids and trying to make sure their enjoyable. I think he's one of the few people that still seem to find youtube enjoyable and hasn't suffered from creative burnout.

And the beautiful thing is, he emerged beyond being just the brother of Zoella and demonstrated versatility... he can sing, he has great comedic timing, and most importantly, he is still a humbled person who doesn't let the "fame" get to him... which is probably why his subscriber base continues to grow without gimmicks or deceiving his viewers. Caspar is a strong second, but the rest of them (Alfie, Marcus, and Jim) caught a wave of good luck that looks to be running out now that most of the "British Invasion" fandom has subsided. Joe is the ONLY one -- with the exception of Zoella and her smart investing -- that I feel will be just fine when the YouTube craze ends.

Yeah but also lots of comments on Marcus' thread about how he's not funny and how he's really boring. Or there used to be anyway.... I stopped reading it cos it got that dull haha. Joe's definitely an all rounder. He's even taken over from Fleur as having the nicest thread!

LOL... I was being facetious. Marcus is boring as all hell and the only thing he has over Jim (who is equally boring if not more) is that he has a marketable appeal with his looks. With Joe, though, I feel he just needs one good role in a movie and he would probably use that as a vehicle for a decent career in film or TV.

Joe said in one of their latest vlogs that his demographics were almost 50-50. Considering that girls will still watch him as he is part of the British Crew and the brother of Zoella (of course), boys will be the ones that will increase his subs number.
Prank wars and the stuff he produces are really attractive for boys, so expect a hand-to-hand subscribers war with zoella...
