I just don't get how you can trademark an everyday phrase like "it's a beautiful day to be alive"??? what is wrong with whoever accepted that?

Lots of everyday phrases are trademarked. Trademarking a phrase doesn't mean it can't ever be used, it just means it can't be used for similar goods (like fitness apparel) in which it gained secondary meaning. Whitney may not have a monopoly on that phrase, but it's definitely gained a secondary meaning in relation to her brand so legally, her trademark is justified.

seriously? "hot fire flames" i could even understand but "it's a beautiful day to be alive" is something a lot more common to be used. I have read/heard it several times

Well, a trademark will not stop that though Amazon marketplace, alieexpress, wish etc etc are notorious for counterfeits

A few months ago, Dani mansutti used the phrase “it’s a beautiful day to be alive” in an Instagram caption and so many people came for her saying omg you’re copying Whitney Simmons blah blah blah.
(To be honest, Dani probably did copy it from her because she doesn’t have an original bone in her body) but it’s not like it’s a unique and profound saying.... trademarking it is ridiculous

Instead of inserting a giant camel clipart in her video which made it nigh impossible to pay attention to what she was saying, maybe wear leggings that don't cause camel toe? Or just don't use that little clip? Use the rest that isn't from that angle? I get that she's more conservative, and that's perfectly fine, but I couldn't pay attention because there was just a... giant camel... slapped over the video.

I don't mind hyper-cheery type of people when it's genuine cheeriness. I actually think it's refreshing in a world of whiners, crybabies, and drama-queens. However, I think what we're all having a negative response to are the subconscious cues Whitney is giving out that her cheeriness isn't genuine at all; it's just an act for youtube and insta. People can sense out this type of phony-ness and it gives off a big, inauthentic, faker vibe.

I guess it's working for Whitney now, but I do wonder how long she can keep it up.

One of the IG fitness gossip accounts posted a screenshot of Whitney replying to someone saying her brows are too dark and her response was "They're my natural color" but she's mentioned plenty of times before how she started getting her brows tinted...So girl, that's. a. lie.

she's sounding a lot more fake cheery these days though. like all the awkward "relatable" things she says sound so scripted and just cringe instead of charming or down-to-earth.

I agree and it makes me really upset. I wonder how tiring it is to keep up with your brand but at the same time if she was honest about her struggle or something I'd like it even more
