I understand her uploading her main channel videos on vessel first, but her vlogs too? That's so uneccesary. Everyone else is on their 5th vlogmas and she only uploaded her day 2. It's disappointing cause I love her vlogmas videos.

Yeah I don't understand the vlogs either I mean it's not like get vlog channel has anywhere near the views as her main channel. I can't imagine that its worth whatever little money she gets from vessel for the vlogs.arcadefired wrote:I understand her uploading her main channel videos on vessel first, but her vlogs too? Re: missremiashten-Part 2
I never felt that Remi was "rich" especially in soCal. She just seems on the higher end of middle class, who has a spending/image problem. So when I read posts by peopIe ranting that she shouldn't be complaining about the cost of school, I don't agree. It's one thing to drop $70 on a shopping spree then dropping thousands a quarter on a degree in something useless and you don't even want to do. People can go back to college whenever, but she can probably only make the youTube while young. I mean this girl shops at forever 21 not saks and bergdorf, and to be honest I doubt she has much money in savings because she's so much about that instant gratification, which probably explains why she buys fake bags instead of saving up for the real thing. Plus, her fashion taste has never been more then cheap and basic to me like all the fake girls in La who carry Michael Kors bags because they want to look designer but can't afford the real deal since they are constantly chasing trends verses waiting to buy quality.
However, no matter how bad she dresses at least back when Remi first started, she seemed like someone I would still want to be friends with because even though she was basic, she was less fake. Now I don't feel like I don't trust anything she promotes to her fan base as she is try to make max profits to support her lifestyle in the entertainment industry. I think it really comes down to the people she now hangs out with now because a lot of people in the entertainment industry here who are like D-list celebrities act really above their means and they keep trying to one up each other. They all run around in their vlogs like "looked at me I'm shopping, eating out, and going to trendy events" and subtly bragging amongst each other, and since this is the world she chose, Remi HAS to drive a nice car, HAS to do new hauls to stay revenant amongst her peers especially since she is fat and has nothing else for them to respect. You don't see her buying real nice designer furniture despite wanting to be an interior designer, because unlike cameras, cars, and purses, they are harder to show off.

Re: missremiashten-Part 2
See I only have a problem when people complain about the cost of school when they don't have to pay for it. My best friend's parents pay for everything for her, yet she still complains about the cost despite not having to pay them back even a penny. Remi does seem like a nice girl just naive about the world around her at times (we are close in age so I don't blame her for that). I think Remi is a creative individual but if she worked at it she could become more then just showing hauls, get ready with me, and diys that are far from great. I'm wondering if her parents help her with school, they seem like they would to me. My parents make too much for grants for me to receive, so I'm all loans, so I feel like that may be the situation with Remi if her parents don't help out. My issue is if she stayed at home her one year at college she could of saved a lot of money (not sure how far she was from it), it seems like her family is close and caring. I just want Remi to take time to herself and figure out who she is not what others want her to be.anonymousperson wrote:I never felt that Remi was "rich" especially in soCal. Re: missremiashten-Part 2
Remi's parents definitely paid for her tuition and they're definitely doing better than okay for their selves. They all have nice cars, a large house in SoCal in a decent suburb isn't cheap, they just remodeled their kitchen, the ludicrous way they spend their money, they're more than capable for paying for her tuition. I stand by my opinion that the cost wasn't an issue for her but just another excuse. Yes, it's expensive, but it doesn't compare to her BMW convertible that could've costed anywhere from 2-3 years at UCR total. Then her brother goes to University of Oregon, so he pays out-of-state tuition at $30k/year, not including room and board, dining plan, etc. which is MORE than a year at UCR with all those amenities.
Re: missremiashten-Part 2
I don't have to pay for college either but I still complain about the cost because I do feel bad for my parents. It's ok to think something is expensive even if you are not paying for it yourself. Realizing that is expensive is a motivation for me to do well and work hard to make my parents proud. I think going to college when you don't know what you want is a waste of money however I go to school in Holland where you go to school for a specific career, you can't just go in undeclared like you can in the US.

Her brother has a scholarship though.Crystalized300 wrote:Remi's parents definitely paid for her tuition and they're definitely doing better than okay for their selves. Re: missremiashten-Part 2
I agree that it's okay to feel bad because you know it's expensive, but the point I was trying to reiterate is that she was using the cost as excuse. Instead of going to college, she spent her money on the equivalent of college or more in wasteful ways: her car, rent in LA can be $1,300+/month for the kind of apartment she lives in, how often she eats out must be $300/week, her car insurance, not to mention the wasteful things she spends her money on. She could've easily used that money to pay for all four years at UCR by herself if she didn't want her parents to pay for it, and not knowing what you want to do is part of the process in an American college, so if she had stuck with it, she would've figured it out eventually.

Re: missremiashten-Part 2
It's unlikely that he has a full scholarship, and even with one, the total cost for someone out-of-state at UO is $47,000/year. Most scholarships would barely make a dent in that.

Re: missremiashten-Part 2
Someone commented on her newest Winter Haul video asking what happened to try-on hauls and it has a ton of thumbs up....Lmao truth is, Remi is buying stuff that she knows doesn't fit her/is too small and looks really bad. I wonder if she is one of those youtubers who buys stuff for hauls then returns it later.
