Imagine what it must be like from their pov. Looking for emotional comfort and when they look at Lindy all they see is a phone covering her face.
Especially Isaac at his age he must be so confused about why she isn't helping him when he needs her.

Well that took roughly a year and a half to show Ayla in discomfort, crying. With Isaac she did it from day 1. Now Lindy is going all out on Ayla since the poor girl looks more and more like Tim.

Lool the funniest part of it this is , even if Tim was there it would be the same outcome anyway. Would Tim bother doing the laundry, washing up , cooking ? Hell no! And from what we've gathered he's got a short fuse with the kids so he wouldn't even bother with them if they were sick. He'd be chilling with his feet up watching a delirious Lindy juggle 2 sick kids.
Why exactly can't Lindy not bear to have him around again? He's like a little tumour.
Literally does fuck all but will happily dip his dirty little fingers in the money he didn't even earn.

Not too long until Lindy defends it saying those are business trips. If you constantly have time to drink and meet friends during those business trips, then that's not what they are. If he'd actually do something productive during those trips then I'd understand he may want to stay an additional day or 2 to meet friends or smth. bUT NO

Lindy is still, while aging and has gained weight, a pretty woman. She could get a better guy, both looks wise and personality wise.

If your theory is correct, then Tim is probably her +1 to those events. She is in most pictures with Tim that posted here.
