I agree that Danny does love Kathleen a lot. The way their faces shine when they are around each other is evidence enough. However, I do not think Danny is a good support system for her.Hihotintin wrote:
I don't watch her snaps so I don't know anything about that, but I do wish her well and hope everything is ok. As much as I criticize ( I like to think most is constructive) I don't wish her any ill will. I know everyone has different opinions about Danny, but I do think he loves Kathleen and is a great support system for her. I worry that if he has to spend more time with his daughter the adjustment may be causing her funk?! Either way perhaps taking the month off will do her some good to get in a better place. Who knows maybe it will help her get her head on straight and go back to how she was in her older videos.
Like someone else has mentioned, Kathleen doesn't seem to like doing anything without Danny. She has Danny with her when she's doing errands and I don't believe she has been to any Youtube/ColourPop events without Danny. Danny also doesn't seem to encourage Kathleen to do things independently. I understand that Danny is probably concerned about Kathleen's anxiety, but babying her by accompanying her everywhere isn't doing her any favors. Sure, Danny is Kathleen's support system, her rock, but once he's gone, Kathleen completely collapses. So that's not a good support system, imo.
This is why she always get severe anxiety when Danny is deployed and also probably why she's in a funk now because of whatever Danny needs to deal with that causes him to be away from her. Yeah, she has her family and they are still close, but based on what Kathleen has said, it seems like she may try to keep her distance a little bit now since her parents' divorce because certain things about her family trigger her anxiety.
She needs a bigger support system, not just Danny, and Danny really should also start encouraging that Kathleen hang out with other people without him, despite Kathleen's anxiety issues.
