I’m not sure. He was jailed in January I think or it all started about this time last year as she said it’s been a year and she never thought she’d speak out and how she had to pretend to be happy even after their daughter was born (the second one that was born in Nov last year).

She said he got an 11 year sentence with parole in 9 years. I haven’t been able to find out why he got jailed but must have been pretty bloody serious for that amount of time.

her latest video was so embarrassing to watch, not to mention so irritating. why she thinks anyone would want to watch and listening to a bunch of Lauren wanna be's just giggling at immature shit is beyond me. i didn't even get 2 minutes in before i had to get out of it before i threw my laptop across the room to make the noise stop.

She mentioned it in her previous haul video as well which I was surprised to hear! But I think it's good that she's not hiding it

She's very much old-school YouTube in that she churns out the same content that we used to enjoy (hauls, tuts) but doesn't seem to have any interest in evolving. I didn't even bother looking at the Shein haul video because I can predict how it's going to go, what styles of clothes she would've picked, which angles she would've chosen etc. It's been done, over and over.

That and doing them so frequently, while boasting how much the hauls cost, is pretty tacky, especially when fast fashion exploits cheap workers in poor countries to make the clothes she shows off in her hauls (and for what, to mock the clothes and criticize the underskilled, underpaid workers who made them for a cent an hour?). With a platform like hers, she could be making the case for ethical fashion while still making it affordable, and a good amount of viewers would listen.

I am so over these moron 'influencers' doing haul videos from fast fashion companies! Why are they so out of touch with the rest of the world! They are either actually so ignorant and uneducated they dont know how these companies exploit and abuse employees or they just don't give a shit because they live such luxurious, shallow and privileged lives. I wish these woman worked at a real job for just a week to see what the rest of the world is doing while they sit at home in their pyjamas all day ordering clothes they will never wear off shitty websites.

I'm so over the PJ line. She carried on about her big project for years and it's literally the most basic thing - block colours with no special designs, just the same thing someone's grandma could make with a pattern from Spotlight. It's not even made ethically, just another sweatshop production designed to maximise her margins.

Well said. You see so many clothes that they just wouldn't wear, ill fitting etc. And the same thing goes for Kmart hauls of crap. Look I don't mind if it's practical, but the majority serves no purpose.

And yes! I would love to see lazy youtubers work in a job outside their house. Commute to work on public transport and put in a full day at work.

Bali isn't for me. But there it's really popular with Perth people. It's cheap and only a short flight.
