I guess, but it's nice to see him actually laid back and having fun with a game rather than putting on an act for the kids to watch. On the livestreams he's just Mark, not Markiplier. So it's upsetting when I miss those genuine moments because I don't always have the time to sit there and watch his channel for any new updates.

Did he answer any interesting questions or anything? Any funny moments or anecdotes? I basically got to the part where he made fertilizer and was working on the copper tools and talking about fapping and then his brother's cameo at the end.

It would be nice if Mark answered to the more mature fans. Instead of trying to put on an act for the little ones all the time.

I just arrived when someone was asking Mark to fap on camera. Yeah...sorry my old fashioned part of me is coming out a bit there :P

He told the stream that the guy who plays Hershel from The Walking Dead was on the plane he caught to Cincinnati and he thought it was funny because he himself got swamped by fans whilst waiting to board the flight and then upon leaving the flight Hershel's actor got swamped by fans. He said he didn't speak to the guy because he didn't want to bother him. He also mentioned that a lot of weird stuff happens to him all the time that he often wants to share with everyone but because his videos are usually filmed days prior a lot of the time he doesn't get to share the cool stuff with us (probably because he forgets) and that he likes that during the live streams he can chat away and tell us about the weird things that happen to him during the day/week.

In Mark's case it seems that like attracts like! I think it's great that weird stuff happens to him, not bad weird but just unusual things... he is pretty unusual himself so I'm not surprised in the slightest! :D

Aw man! I didn't even know there was a livestream until I read about it here. You guys are making it sound interesting. Him being more Mark than Markiplier. I'm curious too, if anything interesting happened. But more than anything, (by the sounds of it) I would have liked to see this real, chill, Mark.

I'm so frustrated at these surprise livestreams — I never get the notification from YouTube :| Thank you so much for sharing the link!

I find it kind of bizarre that Mark says "..it's not going to be archived, but I guess someone will record it, and I can't do anything about it". It's almost as if Mark doesn't want to share this video with a wider audience.

I honestly enjoy these livestreams SO much compared to his videos now, they're so chill.
Really? I missed the stream completely but that would be cool if he did come since I already have my MCM tickets  I imagine if he did officially announce it they'd go incredibly quickly haha, and I'll take it with a pinch of salt because we all know he likes to make loads of plans he can't follow through on!
I'll have to watch this stream back though since it seems pretty chill, I'm really liking Stardew Valley as a game too :)

I think that was exactly his intent, ORZ. If I remember, at some point during the stream he says something about not advertising the stream because he wanted a smaller audience. Like I said, it seemed like he was focusing on the whole "life is fleeting" thing, but I'm not sure how he thinks that would apply to livestreams in the age of DVR. People wouldn't be sad they missed it, they'd just be annoyed that he won't put it up for them to see later when the technology for it exists. It's like when the Grumps decided not to record their livestream for similar reasons, and viewers who weren't able to tune in then were upset with them over it.

Well from what I saw of it there wasn't much of a difference between his advertised streams and this one. There was still over 45000 people spamming the chat with senpai and daddy messages going by super fast making it a headache to look at. It was anything but small.

But even then it seems unfair to just do a stream and not allow people who missed it to watch later. Like I said earlier, it's like he's punishing those who don't spend all their time on his channel and is rewarding the obsessive ones who sit there waiting hours for a new video to emerge. Not everyone has the luxury of sitting around waiting for a livestream that may or may not happen. People have lives outside of Youtube. That's why people DVR TV shows and both Twitch/Youtube Gaming as well as other streaming websites give you the option to archive things.

It's also frustrating because unlike Twitch,Youtube Gaming doesn't give you an email notification when someone you're following is live. It just gives you a link to follow, but only if you're on the home page or browsing through your subscription feed. Otherwise you're gonna miss it.

Just a heads up for anyone going through Mark or Jack's tags on tumblr, some 'fakes' account has photoshopped their faces onto porn again and put them in the main tags

Saw that. Flagged and blocked it immediately. Surprised there isn't an uproar over it, but then again it would be hypocrisy for them to object to this considering they've drawn/written worse things about the two.

Yeah, Youtube told me about the livestream like 70 minutes into it, when it was already half over. It was just dumb luck that I was passing by Youtube right as he was starting. That's one thing I love about Twitch, it'll automatically email you if someone is starting a stream. While I understand his philosophy, it really does suck when people who want to see the stream can't log in at the exact time he's streaming and he doesn't want to archive it. That just causes aggravation needlessly. And like M0nkee said, he still had thousands upon thousands of viewers anyway, so his plan for a more intimate experience didn't really work anyway. I mean, it's obviously his choice to make, but it does penalize innocent viewers unnecessarily.

Yeah :/ I don't understand why he'd do that, wouldn't he want all of his fans to see the l ive stream ? Maybe he just wants a smaller crowd, I don't know but right, not fair to those that wanted to see it. Kind of odd really.

Hey, everyone, it's been a while. :D I finally caught up to Mark's videos (life kept me busy the past months). Yesterday, I too, came across this livestream by pure chance, near the end of it too... I thought it was shame he wouldn't archive it, since what little I watched was really fun.

Chat was an outright mess. :D I had a good chuckle at some people asking "how on earth can someone read this?!"

Have you guys seen Mark picture on facebook? He looks dashing. :) I read through the comments and there was someone wondering if it was actually his wedding....if he pulled that off I'd give him an Oscar....
