Thoughts?
Part of me wants to buy it just for name sake.
But part of me knows I have a lot of those colors in the kit in all my neutral palettes. Plus, I like highlighting with a liquid more than a powder.

Re: Anastasia Contour Kit
I just ordered it from the anastasia website. As someone who is new to contouring I think it is the perfect kit for me to start with and I can use all of the colours if not only for contouring but as eyeshadows if need be. I don't know for 40 bucks I couldn't pass it up.

I absolutely love this palette. I have never contoured or highlighted before and I'm amazed at the transformation. I can't believe I ever lived without it!

Re: Anastasia Contour Kit
How are the colors? Do they work well with your skin tone? I'm thinking about ordering it online, but I'm worried that the colors won't work well for my skin. I'm quite tan now thanks to the Southern California sun, but during the winter my true paleness comes out.allpinkeverything wrote:I absolutely love this palette. Re: Anastasia Contour Kit
I want it SO BAD for my kit, but I feel like I already have most of the colors. The only one I really want/need is Fawn, and perhaps Vanilla. So I think I'm going to wait till they bring out the "refills" and just buy the colors I want. $40 is a bit much to spend if I'm only going to be using one or two colors, especially since they run out insanely quickly (from what I've heard).

Re: Anastasia Contour Kit
I know this is an old topic but I feel like it has to be said.
Doesn't anyone else think it's disgusting how they hype this stupid kit so much that nobody but beauty gurus and "makeup artists" have it. It flies out of stock so fast no one else has a chance.
And on top of it, it takes them 6 months or more to restock?! Why not just make more to begin with?! Oh I know why. To give them an excuse to drive up prices for china sweatshop pans of colored pressed talcum powder! 45$ Really?
And nobody seems to care because all the shills on youtube have one and it's the "it" item. It makes me fucking sick. I know other companies are guilty of these types of things but this is extreme. Just. Make. More. Palettes. What the hell is wrong with them that they can't do something that simple? Especially since they know it's popular.
It's because of this behavior that I've just decided not to buy anything from the ever. It's obvious they're trying to make big money as fast a possible. They'd actually gain more money in the long run if the palette cost less and was more available. Maybe not right away, but in time. Especially since that won't remain the sought after makeup item forever.
Ugh sorry to rant but this whole thing smacks of greed and disregard for the common consumer.

Re: Anastasia Contour Kit
Apparently it's nothing special.
Carl Bybel did a review using it and she didn't seem overly impressed.....

Re: Anastasia Contour Kit
They do have some decent products but the brand is all youtube hype for sure
Re: Anastasia Contour Kit
