Too Faced Racist?
Re: Too Faced Racist?
That really sucks. TSL's skin is not even that dark and that looks yellow on her (and Mahogany is supposed to be cool toned!). They have much more variety for light and light-to-medium tones.

lol none of this shit surprises me anymore. according to them women of color don't wear foundation. Its also funny how they have 3 or 4 foundations that are damn near THE SAME SHADE. fuck too faced and any company who doesn't provide makeup for a dark skin tones.

Re: Too Faced Racist?
Apparently the 6 "new" shades were created at the same time as the others but Sephora didn't have the space when it first came out. People were complaining about both end of the spectrum - lightest shade being around NW20 and the darkest shade barely being "tan".
As for the colors not being that great I agree, they seem to have chosen pretty poorly. Does that make them racist? Idk but business wise it's not fantastic. A lot of companies don't offer dark shades and it's just ridiculous

Re: Too Faced Racist?
I personally don't think too faced is intentionally being racist. I do think that they don't know how to make products that work for WOC though.
Re: Too Faced Racist?
I think they're too lazy to invest in developing deep foundation shades
however I will say that their lightest shade is still 3 shades TOO dark on me

I also find it hard to find foundations for super pale skin as well - seems like most companies only cater certain tones.
