fasted cardio and intermittent fasting

Post by jwolf5554 » Sat Apr 11, 2015 10:41 pm

Has anyone tried intermittent fasting and/or fasted cardio? It seems to work for me so far but does anyone have opinions or results for doing either/or long term? Thanks! :love2:

By fasted cardio I assume you mean cardio after a period of fasting? I used to. I started getting terrible headaches and dizziness mid cardio session. Got sick to my stomach once, passed out another time. And this wasn't ED type stuff, just morning (within an hour of waking up, after at least 2 glasses of water) runs. Cardio on an empty stomach doesn't do it for me. I will do fasts from time to time, if I'm feeling like my digestion is off - usually if ive been eating some not great stuff - but I never do cardio during a fast.

I do intermittent fasting because I have mobility issue and I can't do cardio. My insight would be after a while your body will develop some sort of resistance against fasting and dropping weight would become super difficult. I don't eat 22 hours a day normally and I still struggle to lose weight.
