How much carbs should you eat?

So I'm using the fitness pal app again and the chart says that 50-60% of my daily foods are carbs. Is that bad? I think I eat healthy-ish...

There is always going to be conflicting evidence but in clinical dietitians recommend 45-65% of your diet should come from carbs. The important thing is that they are quality carbs- whole grains, fruits, and veggies. You can of course go lower than this but you should never go below 130 g of carbs. This is the amount your brain needs in order the function.

i try to eat 30/40% daily and i rarely eat it at night as it turns into sugar.

Hi,
I also have near 45-50% of carbs of my daily meal, mainly quality carbs. But it can be higher if I have a training that day.
On my opinion, I think it should depend on your daily activity and body mass index, you can read more about it here.
