What are you eating?
Re: What are you eating?
I had a hotdog for dinner. So unhealthy, I know. :/ it's hard to eat well when your mom buys crap. ._.
Re: What are you eating?
I bought a ton of what I HOPE is healthy food. I tried to stay away from too much grain. For starch I got a lot of rice noodles and rice dishes. I'm kind of a starch addict, so getting rid of grain is hard lol.

Re: What are you eating?
I just had a huge plate of tomato and basil penne pasta topped with cheddar cheese with a side of homemade garlic bread PLUS Ben & Jerry's ice cream for dessert :/ I'm feeling a food coma coming on...
I never eat like this usually. Oh well, I'll let this be my cheat day..

Re: What are you eating?
I made some practically guilt-free cookies tonight, and our friends loved them. They came out really good. They have no butter, flour or sugar in them (you can use sugar if you really want though). I wrote down the recipe:

You guys should check out Trader Joe's if you have one near you. They have these mini Apple bran muffins (not the most delicious thing you've ever had, but still pretty tasty) that are 80 cals/each and 13g of fiber. Yes!! 13! You'll be full for hours
Re: What are you eating?
Yeah I wish we had a Trader Joe's but the closest one that's opened in Colorado so far is over 1 hour drive (each way). We do have Whole Foods though and they have some great selections too.OhDoShutUp wrote:You guys should check out Trader Joe's if you have one near you. With my low-carb diet I wouldn't eat those muffins anyway.

Sad! My nearest WF is >45 mins away. I love both but TJ is gentler on my wallet. I don't count carbs, just make sure my cal intake is a certain amount below those that I expend. I lost 40 lbs that way, so I'm sticking to it!
By the way, everyone, I'm making these tonight to take to lunch for the week: Farmers' Market Quesadilla with zucchini, yellow squash, and mushrooms. 209 cals/serving if you follow the recipe, though I'll probably add sour cream. MMM!

Re: What are you eating?
Chicken and a homemade baguette with Twinnings Camomille, Honey and Vanilla tea
Re: What are you eating?
Snacking on some sun gold tomatoes before my main course of hummus with bread and an apple.
Re: What are you eating?
Made some rice (some kind of blend with red and jasmine rice with green lentils), turned out horrible. I don't think I cooked it long enough, because it was kind of hard and watery.
Re: What are you eating?
I just ate a bunch of butter cookies covered in sprinkles, a bag of honeycomb mallow puffs and some candy canes. I have the crappiest diet in the world. Thankfully I have a fast metabolism, if I didn't I would be a balloon right now from all of the crap I eat.

Re: What are you eating?
I had some ramen a while ago. It's all I've been eating lately, as well as Homestyle Bakes meals. I can't wait for payday for my boyfriend and I. I want to buy some real food. But we don't get paid until the 22nd and 23rd and we're out of money until then... :/
