What ive eaten today

I am about to start a healthy eating plan and attempt more exercise as I have put on a few pounds recently, just enjoying summer before I go back to university. I dont want to lose a massive amount of weight, perhaps about a stone, taking me to 8 stone 2, im 5'2. I want to eat healthier for my body health, hair and nails not just weight loss! Thought this might be a good post, as I might post in here regularly what I eat on a daily basis, as it then might encourage me to eat healthier if I have to write it down and acknowledge it. It might be good to share healthy meals too, as sometimes you just dont think of things!

Good idea!

Today I've eaten...
A homemade banana muffin
A stuffed pepper with ground turkey, onions, black beans, and cheese
A Luna Nutz over Chocolate bar
Some frozen grapes
5 or 6 Twizzlers my brother gave me.. he's a bad influence. :(

That's it. It's almost 11PM here so if I eat anything else, it'll probably be carrots. Today wasn't really a good day because I didn't sleep well and didn't really get out of bed until the mid afternoon. :oops: Hopefully I'll do better tomorrow.

Yesterday I ate:
  • Breakfast: Berry protein smoothie
  • Lunch: Peach, mango and strawberry protein smoothie
  • Dinner: Shrimp with vegetables stir fry
  • Snack: a couple of mini (snack size) sweet bell peppers
I'm still on my liver detox so I'm doing the 2 protein smoothies + low carb meal plan every day right now.

A small chocolate cupcake
2 sausages (for hot dogs, without the bread)
1 cup of spaghetti
Salad
Carrots
Chocolate Protein Smoothie :)

And for dinner I'll eat an apple, some cereal maybe and a small tortilla pizza :)

Everything is in my diet :) I'm with a nutritionist and she changes it every single week. As some of you know, diets are not about eating just vegetables and fruits, but combining the food you eat :) So I can eat whatever I want as long as the combination is ok.

Lucky. I'm not doing carbs so the cupcake and spaghetti are off my menu. At my age I have to be way more strict.

Today besides my 2 smoothies I had a marinated steak with a side of veggies (green beans, wax beans and carrots). I also had a snack of kale chips earlier.

A pumpkin scone and pumpkin spiced latte from Starbucks
Handful of chickpeas
2 sushi rolls

That's it, oddly. Might have an apple later.

i had 2 sandwiches in the morning, an energy bar a few hours ago, and my chicken-cheese pie is about ready to come out of the oven, so i'm going to dig into that soon

I really want to try Kale chips! Especially as crisps are my downfall!

Today I had
1 Weetabix with semi skimmed milk
3 Clementines (could be 2... but not sure)
3 Crackers and 2 Carrots with Guacamole and Sour Chive Dip
1/2 tin Heinz Minestrone Soup

A few cups of tea
1 cup orange juice
Water :)

So far I've only had 1 smoothie today. Should do a 2nd one but I'm not that hungry. For dinner I had duck confit with blanched spinach, and then also had some meat balls in tomato sauce (we were at a tapas restaurant so the portions are small).

For breakfast I had a banana and a few grapes; for lunch a salad; and for dinner I had half a stuffed capsicum (pepper) with mashed potato, onions and various other vegetables. I'm trialing a gluten free diet (for health reasons, not as a diet diet) and today was day 1. I figured it'd be a lot easier to stick to fresh fruit and veges than give myself a headache reading labels lol

Yesterday (now Friday morning here in the UK)
I had porridge for breakfast, brown rice with courgettes and spices for lunch. Salad for dinner. With some wasabi peas, cherries and a bag of snack a jacks for snacks!

honey bunches cereal + .5% milk + half a banana for breakfast
friend rice with tomatoes and chinese sausage for lunch
pumpkin spice latte from starbucks (i only have it a few times a year, so that's how i justify it :P)
egg white + ham + lettuce sandwich with salt and vinegar chips for dinner
toaster waffle for paper writing/midnight snack

i eat terribly...

Whole grain toast with peanut butter and blackberries
Kind protien bar with an apple
Whole wheat pasta with protein and strawberries
Hot Cocoa and carmel apple for desert (I have a huge sweet tooth and the apple is under 70 calories!)

Later I'll probably have some tea and maybe a few crackers.

Rotisserie chicken with some steamed corn/broccoli/cauliflower
Fresh spinach with black olives, sunflower seeds, chickpeas and balsamic vinaigrette

What have you ate today?

I know this is similar to the 'what are you eating' thread but I thought it'd be interesting to see what people have ate throughout the day.

It's 18:40 here and so far I've had:

Breakfast: Nothing as I woke up too late, whoops!
Lunch: A couple of slices of pizza. The pizza had a thin base and lots of veggies on top so it was a healthier alternative than the usual greasy pizzas haha.
Dinner: Not had yet but I'm having vegetable soup. It's simply an Oxo cube in some water boiled with vegetables. Very autumnal haha. :)

Might have some yoghurt and granola after dinner if I'm feeling hungry.

I had taco salad today. Probably not healthy, but it was delicious! It had shredded chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, and beans at the bottom. I used a tad of sour cream as dressing. So good!
