Favorite iPhone apps (and why)?

Hi! I hate the YT tag about iPhones because, well, who wants to watch someone show you apps on their phone? I've tried watching two of those videos and had to quite less than half-way through because they were just boring.

But I'm always looking for good ones, any category is fine. What are some of your favorites and/or most used? And why do you like them? Thank you!

I like the idea of those videos, but most times it ends up being a let down...

Beside the traditional ones like facebook, twitter, instagram... I like using AroundMe when out and about, also soundhound when I don't know what song is playing, air mouse to control my laptop from my iphone and couchto5k when I'm at the gym

Those videos just seem kind of boring to me, and it's also interesting how everyone on YT has an iPhone...but so do I.

As far as apps go, twi-face-tagram-blr and all the basic ones, I also used to love the Yahoo premier league app to keep up with the league but it's not working this season for some reason, google translator, goodreads, the mcsweeney's app, urbanspoon, and tiny monsters, which is this horribly pointless but really fun game.

I like the ones for backgrounds, like Wp & Bg, although the reviews for it aren't great. I love the photobucket app! It makes things so easy and accessible.

Pandora- however the ads are driving me up the wall so I switched to Songza. Songza isn't as great, & they both play the same songs over and over.
RetailMeNot - find coupon codes, deals & printable coupons for stores/websites. Great when I want to order pizza!
Flashlight - for flashlight purposes
Soundhound - when I want to know the name of a song
Rage comics - keeps me entertained
SleepMachineLite - When it's too quite at night it scares me, this serves as background noise w/o using the TV
Walgreens - to check out the weekly ad

facebook, twitter, instagram, shazam so i can find the name of a song playing, stupid temple run that i'm STILL addicted to, chase banking so i can cry about how broke i am, and the flashlight app. oh and sleep cycle is pretty cool too, but i don't like leaving my phone on the charger all night so i don't use it too often anymore.
