I'm pretty sure the camera man is Garrett's friend Andrew. He was in Ryland's vlog with a camera during the dad week.

I felt kinda bad for Garrett in today's video. Him and Alex seem to hit it off. It's nice if Shane to do this for him and I'm sure he got permission beforehand to record, but my issue was his comments. He made it intentionally weird, and not in a funny way, in an uncomfortable way.

I am really digging his channel more now. He's finding a good balance of videos and idea. Just my opinion tho

yeah, shane made the video really cringey. garrett and alex did seem to like each other, and alex seems really cool (i was dying when they were dancing to fat chicks ) so i hope they keep seeing each other away from the cameras.

but same, i cringed SO bad when he mentioned that he and garrett went out for like a month.

I thought it was sorta strange that shane brought up the fact that they dated? I mean they only just met there was no need for it especially when it didn't go anywhere and obviously shane says that theres no feeling now , if I was going on a first date and their friend told me they dated it would freak me out a little bit but maybe that's just me.
Shane also seemed to not leave them alone much and would constantly talk over them. Garrett seems like a sweet guy so I'm glad Alex decided to go on a first proper date away from the cameras and away from shane

lol, this non-youtuber guy was in one video and you're already judging him based on that? Let's be real, how many people would get Shane and that group's type of humor? Sure, Shane and the rest are funny to watch on youtube but if I went over to Shane's house and Ryland was peeing in the bushes with uno and Shane was telling me repeatedly how he and Garrett kissed and it was not good (why the f*** does he mention that his an Garrett's "relationship" crashed and burned so much?) I would feel awkward af.

And I sure as hell hope Alex doesn't become a youtuber, especially a youtuber boyfriend, like how many more of those do we need lets be real.

Duuuude that's totally what I said in another post. I mean, Ryland mentioned that guy he dated for MONTHS and he said he didn't consider than guy an actual ex, but Shane knew Garret for maybe 2~3 weeks and within those weeks they had maybe 2~4 dates and he talks about Garrett like they had some whirlwind romance that lasted years or something. And then he constantly mentions how badly it failed and how he would never consider dating Garrett again (even said so in the lie detector video). Like....... what's with his obsession with his failed relationship with Garrett? At this point, he has more of a relationship with Drew and Drew's not even gay or bi.

Speaking of Drew, I feel like a huge part of his depression is struggling with his sexuality. I feel like Shane andthe rest of the youtube gang and even subscribers are pressuring him so much to be gay or bi but he's really adamant that he's straight. It wasn't until recently where he's like, "ok ok, I'll try and see if I have any attraction towards guys" but it honestly seems like he is not sexually attracted to guys at all but everyone is saying, "no, dude, you're totally gay man" and it's just fcking up his mind.

It bothers me so much whenever Shane brings up the fact that they "dated." Sometimes it's part of a joke, but other times (most of the time) it feels like he brings it up just to bring it up. The first few times people may have found it funny, and now it's kinda just like....Okay we get it you guys almost dated and it didn't work out. Garrett never really finds the need to constantly bring it up, so why does Shane? ESPECIALLY when it's in front of Ryland or now with Alex. If you're over Garrett, stop bringing it up so much.


Also, I'm not too sure how I feel about the newest videos about the blind date. I guess Shane's intentions were...good, but I would be pretty bothered if my friend had randomly set me up on a blind date and not tell me till minutes before the date got there. Not just bothered, but really anxious. I really would've prefered if Shane had let Garrett be himself (Dress the way he usually does, talk about Harry Potter like Shane told Alex not to, etc.) and the date be off camera. First dates should be about getting to know the other person, but of course, anything for the views. Especially since Garrett says that he's fine with being single, Shane is kinda pushing a relationship onto him. Wonder if he'll continue to make those "WE DATED!" jokes when Garrett DOES eventually find a boyfriend (He probably will.)

I feel like the fact that he even agreed to do this whole camera thing to begin with and didn't seem pissed throughout the entire thing just shows what a cool dude he is. Maybe Garrett needs someone chill and laidback and not in the youtube/social media world. I really hope they go for that date and see if they truly click.

Ryland was on the podcast again. My biggest take aways were: 1) Ryland is REALLY bothered by Shane's porn viewing. I feel like he constantly brings it up, despite insisting that it isn't really an issue, and 2) Ryland doesn't want to be upfront about why he left Clevver.
