Horror Movies
Re: Horror Movies
Do you like older horror movies as well? There's some good ones.
Here's a list of movies I can remember: Phantasm, Poltergeist, Evil Dead (The whole trilogy is great, but it's kind of dark comedy more than horror), Evil Dead (Remake...more of a reimagination, but I liked it), Sinister, Insidious, The Conjuring, Halloween, Final Destination (a fun series of movies to watch), and 30 Days of Night.
I'll think of more, but those are all pretty great.

Re: Horror Movies
I would recommend watching a youtuber called "Horrible Reviews" He has great suggestions and reviews on classic and cult horror, thrillers etc and all the like.
Re: Horror Movies
I don't know if you're interested in found footage horror movies but "Grave Encounter" is very great ! (there is a sequel but it's not as great as the original one)
I really liked "Final Destination 4" as well !

Re: Horror Movies
Obviously the classics. Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Omen... Halloween is my personal favourite. Just avoid the remakes. They're all pretty terrible, imo.
Other ones I'd recommend:
The Devil's Rejects
The Last Exorcism
The Amityville Horror (original)
Fright Night (original)
Cabin in the Woods
You're Next
Re-Animator (<3)
Also second The Conjuring, and The Babadook was alright.

Re: Horror Movies
Have a look at a guy on the YouTube channel "Horrible Reviews"
As the name suggested he reviews horror movies, disturbing movies, some thrillers etc.

Re: Horror Movies
My favourite horror movie of all time is The Descent. Don't (or do) watch it if you've got a thing about enclosed spaces.

Re: Horror Movies
Depends what you're into. One of my favourites is The Orphanage but that may not be considered horror by some.
If you like zombies: 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later (unpopularopinionpuffin.jpeg I liked the sequel a lot more), Resident Evil (the first few are tacky but I enjoyed the zombies in Afterlife), World War Z, Diary of the Dead, I Am Legend (neither are scary but still enjoyable), Pontypoool, Quarantine, REC, REC 2, Contracted, The Crazies,
Ghosts, demons, blah blahs: The Orphanage, the original Amityville Horror, 1408, Ju-On, The Shining, Annabelle, Rosemary's Baby, The Conjuring, The Uninvited, The Last Exorcism, The Exorcism of Emily Rose (my favourite exorcism movie!), Hellraiser, Stigmata, Silent Hill, The Atticus Institute, The Babadook, The Taking of Deborah Logan, The Devil Inside, Lovely Molly, The Strangers, The Descent (idk where this belongs either), 30 Days of Night
Aliens: Area 51, The Mist (debatable if fits into alien category but idk where else to put it), the Fourth Kind, Grabbers, Under the Skin, Cloverfield
I feel I'm missing a TON, and am assuming you've seen a lot of the classics. But I'm a horror junkie and hope I helped somewhat.

''Well, look who I ran into,'' crowed Coincidence.
''Please,'' flirted Fate, ''this was meant to be.''
