Would you be offended,as an UK resident,if someone (not from the UK) spoke in a "british-"-ish accent?

Nah, maybe they are just trying to fit in. Or perhaps hoping to pick up an accent to seem cooler at home.

Honestly sometimes I just pick up accents when I'm around certain people (Kiwis, Aussies). I don't do it on purpose, it just comes out.

Nope, not really. A lot of people pick up accents or use the accent to make the pronunciation of words clearer.
