Indeed.Com is the biggest search engine. You upload your resume, search for positions and also find recruiters.
Are your qualifications valid for the uk? That would be my only query.
An agency may be helpful to get you casual or the first placement. Google for those as they are numerous.

Hi how are things with job searching? My son has lost his job due to coronavirus and can't find the new one. Maybe we shall look for this option.

Try some freelancing platforms too.
Or if he has any skills, he could make money out of that, by starting a business.
