Yep, it's weird, particularly when she keeps telling people on twitter and facebook that she is going to start vlogging again, and has yet to do so. I get that she had to drop it for a while when she was getting resituated after the break-up with Cory, even that she said she would start and didn't at that time, but the last declaration was on June 17th. She needs to stop dangling the vlog carrot in front of her fans and admit she either doesn't have time or doesn't want to vlog anymore, and give them links to these new things instead. It's starting to border on being cruel, even if she probably doesn't realize it. That, and she has the whole 'girl who cried vlog' thing going on.

Thanks for posting the episode, plinkie. I like her in that role. She's more polished and generous. I wonder if some coaching and direction paid off. Right, why wouldn't she promote the show through her own media?

I kind of wonder if she is still trying to split up what she is doing professionally (?) now with her old vlogging career, which it seems like she doesn't have the time, drive, or care to do anymore. If she'd just make a clean break and promo doing her new stuff, it might be less painful/awkward for her.

She does look a lot more professional and put together in that video. I hope it's a turn over a new leaf kinda thing for her.

I have been reading this thread for like the beginning and now that. I have an account I can jump in with you all

But man I was thing of the old day, or the old day for me of watch Cory and Kate from back then and it was a trip..... I had really enjoy the past....
I'm happy that Cory found a good woman who seems so down to earth and normal....if u get what I saying

And Kate....I think is a lost cause....she must regret not having what she once had and can't seem to come back from her fall from her clouds.....

That wedding video is quite possibly the most cringe-worthy, douchey thing I've ever seen. This guy mugs for the camera every chance he gets. Gross. Who in their right mind would marry him?

Cory's wedding vid? I lost interest in his channel a few months back but decided to check it out again...he seems to have aged a great deal over the last few months but the wedding vid wasn't as eye-rolly to me as his "This is the End!" vid where he does yet another bunch of soul-searching and goes on about how he's on "another chapter" in his life. I've watched him on and off for years and he makes such a big deal out of every change he makes...it must get tiring to live with such a drama king. (Technically I suppose we should be discussing this on his thread...I don't know why they kept his name on this one as it was started long after he and Katers broke up.)

I finally unsubbed from her earlier this year, but I started wondering about her and popped in over here to see what she was up to. She has changed so much. I wonder what would have happened to her if she had stayed across the pond. I feel California changed her for the worse. She's striving to be the next big thing and constantly failing at it. I think she could have gotten somewhere with her cos-play business, but that fell through. The she did the photography thing...we won't talk about that. Then she started hanging out with the "popular kids" in Hollywood. I feel after Cory everything just went downhill for her. I hope she can pull herself back together and find something to strive for and stick with it. I miss the old Kate so much. And her new "show" is a complete flopped. I feel the fans have found her and they are none to happy about her doing other things and forgetting about them.

How cheesy was it to show the Banana Republic bag? It makes me cringe to think that a wedding might have a sponsor. Also, there are the shots of Kristen looking all wide-eyed in love with Cory. You never see him return the look. Cory looks like a self-satisfied prick.

It seems like she is always posting these statuses about why she hasn't been putting out videos and that now she's working on it and a bunch of them will be coming out soon. Then she never delivers. In fact she had a status saying just that a few weeks ago which I notice has been deleted since she posted this new longer one linked above. I'm sorry, but editing simple vlogs together does not take that long, especially for an experienced youtuber like her, she could easily pop one out on a day off or on the weekends, she's just lazy, and not as committed to Youtube as she once was.

Sidenote: Did she delete the vlog where she explained her "hacking" and gofundme page?

Things started going bad for Kate and Cory when Google settled a big copyright lawsuit and decided to stop paying YT partners so much money. This caused a lot of problems in the YT community, because creators were no longer bringing in the big bucks. It's expensive to live in LA, and money problems were common for Kate and Cory. But, the final blow came when he moved her away from Hollywood, to that mountain, in the boondocks. It was more affordable to live there, but it wasn't exciting enough for Kate.

Keep in mind, Kate broke up Cory's marriage, and within 18 months of his divorce, she leaves him, so she can move back to LA. Then, when she gets criticized for it, she deletes all of her internet accounts and later blamed it on a "hacker". Her lies were so ridiculous, and she dug her hole so deep, that everyone saw her as a laughing stock. Longtime subscribers will remember that originally Kate portrayed herself to be a Lesbian, when she first moved in the Cory and Stephanie, so she could be "trusted" spending so much time alone with a married man.

BTW, Kate never had a big subscriber base, and when YT changed their payment scheme, she could no longer pay the bills with YT videos. She's not a kid anymore, and now that she has a real job at MTV, so she will not return to throwing up regular videos on YT. Her followers have abandoned her, and some of those who stayed are there to troll her to explain her lies.

I still don't believe the hacking story. She deleted all her accounts, shaved her head, was having out with no so nice people in Hollywood, her dad had to come stay with her for a while. It all screams mental breakdown. Sad she won't acknowledge it.

I got a screen cap. I just thought it was interesting to see who her new boyfriend is and that apparently she smokes pot. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I was surprised.

Not surprised in the least. Good catch, btw, thanks for sharing. Is it just me, or does Mr. Spacetuxedo look an awful lot like Tom (Ryan Eggold) from the Blacklist?

So she finally uploads a new vlog after so many months to only show us a nearly 3 minute of what looks like porn or an orgy of people we have no idea and least bothered to know about and just 3 seconds of her face.....good job Kate.

As for the new boyfriend..that was an amazing catch Plinkie...I dont know how you managed to catch that....I checked out his instagram and in one of the pics where Kate is playing a shooting game someone mentioned as a comment saying "If this is your new chick, great job, she is a legit fox", maybe its just me but that rubbed me off the wrong way. As much as I dislike her attitude but def. hope she doesn't hook up with a guy which will set her down to another breakdown.
