Where in Texas? I live in TX and I've never heard the name. Just curious if it's a regional thing.

Oh, me too.

Anywho, yeah I was surprised how much he showed in the birth vlog. The baby sure is a cutie though.

Forgot to say that I wish he had censored Kinsley. Too many creeps out there. Their YT audience shouldn't see that.

I respectfully disagree. There are tens of thousands of birthing videos on YT that show the naked infant. It's a beautiful, natural experience and anyone who views any of it sexually has issues. Pervs will find material regardless so if they want to share the uncensored birth - which includes naked shots of Kinsley - with the people who care about them and have been with them throughout the pregnancy journey, pedophiles shouldn't have the power to block that. Just my opinion! I know this is a touchy subject and everyone feels differently. Personally, I would never post my birth or naked photos of my future child online but I don't fault those who do. With every other YT video being sponsored and all the fakeness from YTers in general, it's special to see a genuine moment.

I get what you're saying but I feel if he's going to respect Jenny and purposely edit her when she's naked why can't the baby have the same respect? Of course, I'm on the other end of the spectrum and don't post photos of my baby on any social media whether she is clothed or not. But that's probably because I've had to witness very disturbing photos of children in a past job for a child pornography case. That scarred me and I'm horrified of the idea of creeps using my child's pictures in that way so I just avoid the possibility entirely. I'm probably overly paranoid. Who knows.

It's not that Kingsley shouldn't be sexualized because she's a child and anyone who sexualizes her is sick, because that's true on so many levels. I think it's more of they showed her vagina, it is seen as a sexual part of the body (for the most part) If it were just her upper half or her butt or something that could be different, but they showed her exposed vagina.

I used to think the people complaining about infant nudity on youtuber's videos were overreacting but the more I've had time to think about it, and the closer I've gotten to starting to have my own children, I get where they're coming from. Better to be safe than sorry. Also, my kid probably wouldn't want their genitals flashed all over the internet for the world to see when they're older... I know I sure as heck wouldn't be okay with that if my parents had done it to me.

Anyway, came here to take bets: when do you think WTK will break up? It just seems like they're all a little too old for this, especially when your frontman is married with a newborn (yeah, there are plenty of singers/artists with spouses and children but their musical style is geared for an average age above 13).

i'm enjoying the new baby footage in the vlogs but I'm getting weary of Travis' "I'm just doing my husbandly and fatherly duties" Clark. Everything he does he makes a big spiel about how it's his role and duty as a father and husband. Including the fucking dishes in the most recent vlog. Jenny on the other hand has been totally chill and motherhood seems to suit her. I'm glad the baby is breastfeeding well and she's being open to trying things like cloth diapers, marrow soup when she was unwell etc. Travis is just way to OTT for me.

Although, I'm finding their evening routine a little weird at the moment, it looks like Jenny goes to bed by herself at about 9/10pm while Travis, even though he seems tired himself, stays up another 2-3 hours and holds the sleeping baby so Jenny can rest? And even then he said if the baby is unsettled and needs the breast he wakes Jenny. So why aren't the pair just going to bed with the baby at the same time if the baby is sleeping and they're also tired? I know the pair don't work actual jobs so a fixed bedtime is neither here nor there to them but there needs to be some kind of routine in place because when Travis goes on tour next year, he is going to be out of the house at night and Jenny is going to be thankful that there is some kind of routine in place at night if she's still breastfeeding. She's going to need that baby to be sleeping in bed next to her for a few hours before shes awake and having to deal with it. I just don't get why if Mom is tired, Dad is tired and Baby is tired then they aren't just going to bed together for a few hours before the next feed. Even there Travis can settle Kinsley if she doesn't need a feed.

They're overthinking the whole thing and developing a complex routine and down the line the baby isn't going to want to just lay in bed at night and sleep next to Jenny at night or settle herself when she wakes. When my SIL had my niece the midwife emphasised if Mum goes to sleep, so should baby, even if the baby is awake they can smell the breast and it will settle them down back to sleep if they are woken up. Travis holding and carrying a sleeping kinsley around the house for 2-3 hours every night is no good for him, Jenny or Kinsley.

If the real reason (which I suspect it might be) is that Jenny cant get a restful nights sleep because she's co-sleeping with the baby and Travis, then they need to quickly re-consider the whole co-sleeping thing. I don't know what's wrong with a traditional moses basket next to a bed like parents have been doing for hundreds of years. The baby will still be able to smell Jenny / Sense they are in the room even if the moses basket was 6ft away and everyone will be able to sleep. Everyone wins.

I coslept will all 3 of my kids and they suggest you sleep when baby sleeps. DH would get up and change the baby all night (with newborns its pretty much a change every feed at least) and bring him back to bed for me. It was much easier for me to just semi wake up, feed baby, fall right back to sleep without getting out of bed. I don;t understand why Travis thinks he needs to walk around with the baby,I think he just wants to show off he is SUCH a good husband to keep baby so Jenny can sleep a full night while he will take one for the team and stay away 3 hours longer than her. I am sure they are napping all day, they don;t have jobs to go to. I took 2 naps a day with baby when I was nursing my first newborn, then I took 1 nap with my toddler when 2nd newborn nursed/napped. By baby #3,I had a 3 and 5 year old so the naps were out and it was way harder to function, but its only for a short time and all new parents go through it. Travis tries to make himself the center of attention about everything, I think like someone else said he just wants to show what a great husband/father he is when that is what most husbands of newborns are doing while still getting up for work everyday. My husband took a week off work with each kid, but Travis has a few months until he leaves so he is very lucky.

I guess this particular situation makes it unique because normally in the birth videos I've watched, the mom isn't censored either. So in that regard, I can see why someone would say they should both be censored. I'm with you, I don't think I'd post any pictures of my future kids on social media. Maybe on a locked down place where only my family and close friends had access to? My SIL has a password protected Shutterfly where she posts pics of her kids and I really like that idea.

I don't watch them, but a vid popped up in my related feed so I did, I randomly watched three vids and out of three two of them Travis mentioned kinsley "watching her weight/trying to lose weight because she is a girl" and I wanted to slap him so bad.

so yeah, very off putting.

One of the reasons I stopped watching, Travis is very misogynistic and makes comments like this all the time - i can't watch it, it riles me up. Comments like that about the baby, even worse

I know she's breastfeeding, but it seemed a bit awkward that Jenny was just hanging out with her dad in the kitchen only wearing a bra - she wasn't feeding the baby at the time. Maybe I'm a prude, but I would put a shirt on if my dad was coming over.

Travis is really into breast feeding. He must pull his camera out every time Jenny pulls her boob out.

How do you think Jenny is going to handle touring with Kinsley? She's going to take her all the way to Australia. That sounds like a nightmare.

I really shouldn't be surprised that Travis and Jenny are taking Kinsley to auditions since they are in the biz, but 7 weeks old and exposing her to all that? Let the baby grow. She already has a camera shoved in her face being harassed by her dad.

Thank you. I came to say the same thing. I can't imagine taking my 5 month old to do something like that much less a 7 week old. Yuck.

You say they need a routine and then say their routine is to complex. You wrote this in December, when the baby was two weeks old She was probably still tired/sore from birth and they are still trying to figure things out. Jenny probably wanted to attempt a few hours of solid sleep so she could handle all the feeding/changing in the middle of the night.

How dumb can they be taking Kinsley inside the venue to watch the concert?! I already thought they were idiots for taking her on tour with her being a NEWBORN and I hoped they wouldn't be stupid enough to actually take her into a loud venue. Who wants to bet Jenny said "do you know who my husband is?!" when she was told to leave.

Entitled, awful people. Poor Kinsley and her fragile little baby ears. :(

Kinsley seems like such a chill baby that that's probably all they were thinking about. Lol that Travis put Jenny's bitchface on the thumbnail for the video. That stage was so small, and that was for their hometown show! Whenever they vlog on tours I like to watch the difference in interactions with the crew and Travis/Danny/Charles. It's subtle, but you can see Travis/boss, Danny/friend, and Charles/Charles.

Jenny turned into 'that' mom, when someone told her her kid wasn't welcome at an adult venue? Color me shocked.

And it was for a good reason, too. I can't believe they brought her without ANY ear protection. I mean, it's not a good place for her to be anyways, but at least protect her ears! In the clip when they were leaving, Kinsley was crying too. No doubt in my mind that she was crying because her ears hurt.

News flash: your baby can only see a very short distance in front of her. She quite literally could not see her dad on stage.

It was nice to see that even their fans were upset by it. Some were like "they can do what they want", but quite a few were like uhm... that's a newborn baby.

Jenny's dad is such a creepy dad. I've noticed the daughters are known to wear almost nothing in front of him (like t-shirts and no bottoms for Christmas morning). Then in today's vlog noticed he holds his daughters at the lower waist/hip from behind them and other areas that just make me feel awkward.

Maybe that's normal for them, but that NOT normal for most dad/daughters.

I'm sure it's nothing, but it just seems SOOOOO weird!

I had to laugh at Trav's recent instagram description particularly the bit in bold, what exactly has she done to try and achieve this?
This is the start of something amazing. Jenny decided to have a couple friends over to do a meditation on Hope inspired by Deepak Chopra and she's gonna try to do it weekly and maybe build it into a quick yoga session as well! I am so unbelievably proud of her. Service is a very important part of who she is, and each day she is inspired by different elements of life that make her want to serve the world and make it a better place for us all to live in. She constantly doesn't think that she's doing enough, but I for one can say that I am incredibly inspired by the person she is every day of her life. Thanks to everyone who came to hang out and talk about life, love and all things between!
