In their defense, they said his name wasn't "Phil Jr." and it isn't, it's Phil III. Someone on here called that Lindsey would do that -- I'd go back and check, but I might get booted off the forum again.

And he does look like Phil! I'm not all that fond of the [nick]name Trey, so I'm going to refer to him as Little Phil.

I knew this was going to be the outcome. I don't hate Trey but I'm not fond of it either. I prefer just calling him Phillip but he I'm so happy for them a big healthy baby! I can't wait for photos of them holding the baby, I will cry.

I don't like Trey at all...And technically, it isn't Phil, it's Phillip haha, so she technically didn't lie. I was hoping they would give him his own unique name. I don't get it, my nephew is the third as well but he always goes by a nickname and is introduced by that nickname and will probably be forever known as that nickname, so why not use the dad's name as a middle name or something ? Guess I'm not sentimental enough to get it.

Anyway, so happy for them to have their healthy baby boy I'm sure they'll be awesome parents!

Well at least Trey is an actual name. Although the only Trey I know was this 15 year old kid that always tried to hook up with me whenever we were in the same room when I was in my 20s. So it kind of creeps me out by default, lol.

I haven't heard of trey for a 3rd nickname. I have heard Trip but not trey. It's cute though. And a big, beautiful baby. Congrats to them.

Do we think his middle name is Trey or are they just using it as a nickname. I know my dad is a 3rd and he goes by his middle name and was always meant to and he's always seen it as a constant mild annoyance, can't imagine what always going by a totally unrelated (on quick glance) nickname will be like.

At least it is a real name though.

It's definitely a nickname. The babys official name is Phillip * DeFrancini III. I'm assuming the Trey is coming from tres, which means three in Spanish.

Ross wasn't in the new video. INTERESTING. haha I'm having so much fun with this. On a side note, both his blog posts regarding his departure from SF are written in a completely condescending manner, as though he's writing to 5-year-olds. I used to like Ross but he's really just a massive douchebag. I'm genuinely curious how he's (or used to be) such close friends with Phil.

Trey (well actually tre but you get the idea) is 3 in Italian to bring it once again to his roots. But I still think he's going to be explaining that his whole life but I get why they did it.

I'm a little surprised they chose to nickname him Trey haha. Isn't that, like, kind of a douchey name? Or am I totally off base? It makes me think of a meathead jock-type.
