This thread is pretty dead but Em fucked up in her new video. Anyway, some people on lolcow picked up on the fact that the bearded dragon enclosure was called an upgrade from a temporary holding area.

Tbh the more I've been looking into animal welfare the less I think it's possible for people like Em and Danny to be 100% ethical in their practices. Like they just have too many animals and breeders care more about output than individual animals. And it's a shame.
There's no way they have room for two 4ft enclosures for those beardies when they reach full size.

Anyone see Em's six foot photos on instagram? Like she's literally posted 6 up close shots of her feet....with snakes wrapped around her ankles. It's bizarre

OK, the small animals around her feet remind me uncomfortably of crush fetishes, especially the ones with shoes on.
Perhaps she's not aware of that disgustingness, but you can guarantee she'll know about all the creepers who'll jerk off to her feet. My friend has a personal Insta with only a handful of followers, and posted one photo of her shoes, and got a bunch of creepers asking for feet photos, no chance Em won't get some of those. Edit: The longer I look at her Insta the more pissed off I get. There's a picture of two milk snakes side by side. They're extremely cannibalistic snakes, being in each other's presence is not only dangerous for them, it's probably stressful AF. She's entering Taylor Dean level shit animal care territory.

Ahhh I've held off posting here cos I really enjoy her content, but yeah, there are tons of feet fetishists commenting on her photos asking typical fetishist questions about feet... And with hash tags like #footlick and #cutefeet, I find it hard to believe that she has gotten to 30 without encountering fetishists given her run in horror movies, and that that type of hashtag is a magnet for them, but still I think she's being a bit naive with the "mixing things people don't like together"... I think I just find it a bit odd because her Youtube content is very...kiddie. But if you flick back a few pics on Insta (past the picture where she has a snake and a dove in the same photo...another massive GRRRRRR from me), she has a couple of pretty racy photos. I mean, Taylor Dean clearly caters to an audience of teens, but Emzotic takes this patronising kids TV presenter tone that sounds like it's suitable for pre-teens, then posts pics of herself in cage bras holding tools as weapons, and has at least one torture porn flick on her IMDB. Throw in the leeches and it really feels like you have a person who has no sense of what's appropriate. It's a very odd contrast.

I find it hard to believe Em doesn't know what she's attracting with those feet posts. I was making foot fetish jokes with my friends when we were 13 lol. The tags she's using don't exactly make a case for innocent on the subject either. I guess I'd say "you do you" only I do believe it's questionable to make your youtube money by aiming videos at kids, to keep up this child friendly animal educator aesthetic she has on most social media platforms, and then to suddenly post 6 foot pics with tags like "#footfetish" AND YES I just saw this when I went to see what exact tags she was using. She actually said "#peoplethink #imtrying #toentice #footfetish #people" and goes on to say that the problem is us not her. She's literally posted 6 pics of her feet and has been tagging them with multiple feet tags every time. You can't be that innocent at her age. Or at any age if you're active online these days lol.

No one is saying feet are inherently sexual. I think feet are kinda gross. But it's like walking around topless in a supermarket and then when people act scandalised saying "it's not my fault society unfairly sexualises my upper body!" Even if that might be true, you're familiar with societal norms and you can't just blame other people for not pretending to be naive on something so widely known/joked about. Her new video (while I haven't watched it, just read a summary) seems like a complete mess of defending people that are providing shit care to their animals, including herself. I think she has come to realise that she will be called out for mistakes (especially simple mistakes) and promoting products that aren't actually good and this is her way to make an excuse.

I find it very odd that she is so set on breeding her birds and it makes me wonder if they're selling bred animals on the side (I imagine birds can go for a lot, I know that pigeons often do) and are covering it by saying that Danny and his friends 'trade' animals.

I get really, really weird vibes from her. From the way she speaks (slow, over-pronunciated, all dead in the eyes) to her weird sense of humour (in one of her vlog her boyfriend pees on a snowman and they think it's normal and funny???). Some of her actions are also really weird like for example the leeches video where she just bleeds in front of the camera with a smile on her face and then proceeds to make herself a bandage with a menstrual pad.

I never liked Emma, but after watching her interview talking about her r*pe scene in Human Centipede made me really disgusted with her.. How can you say its "not for entertainment and not funny" when that movie is literally just a glorified torture porn film FOR ENTERTAINMENT. Oh hush. Yes, I would. If you think a dab of blood is gory then that sucks, but I and most of the population do not agree and are undisturbed. She blurred the picture of the "bloody fetus tissue" (you're just trying to make it sound grotesque; something we don't need more of when discussing miscarriage) and it's no worse than anything you'd find in a medical article or documentary on Discovery. In fact it is much more tame.

Maybe, like I said (consider this this time instead of just reacting to an opposing opinion), she is trying to destigmatize her trauma. It could be personal or a part of a larger message.

oh im definitely not doubting that her pics and story are real. i'm only wondering what she tries to gain from sharing all this.

as i said, i really felt for her when she shared this story in an older video. i do think its important to talk about miscarriage and coping with it and whatnot. i'm sorry she and anyone has to go through this. but this post is a bit much. you can disagree, but dont come at me saying posting this stuff is normal to everyone in the world. i dont think i would be disturbed were these photos taken in a medical setting. but they are so raw and personal (especially the bloody nose of the ferret), it makes me deeply uncomfortable. you could argue it is supposed to (to spread some sort of message), but with other weird shit shes done lately it falls into a pattern. she seems to love gore a bit too much.

what i meant is, i don't think taking photos would be high priority for me when i'm immense pain and losing half my blood (then again, i've never been in that situation and don't know what weird things i would do!). she for some reason went into lengths to take those photos

You've also misconstrued my wording so as to bolster your argument (I didn't say everyone is comfortable with "this stuff" I said most people wont feel particular discomfort upon seeing an animal with blood on its nose) which I find frustrating. Her miscarriage time line just doesn't sound right. The way she has written it, two of the picture she has selected makes it seem like it was a horrible experience but she's 'quirky' because of it. The tone just doesn't sound right for such a horrible thing, especially with a hospital selfie.

This doesn't sit right with me.

I don't care if the issue needs to be talked about (because it does, you can't deny that) but this just doesn't seem to be the right way to go around it.
