Opening the vlog with him going over a red light? I just can't help but see this guy as a massive asshole, so immature and belligerent. He'll grovel and suck up to companies when there is something to gain and otherwise he is always saying 'fuck you' in some way or another. The way they dealt with Nilam's birthday was indeed rude. I always thought that Louis and Nilam might have had a crush on each other at some point, or even had a moment or two, and now he always has to prove to Raya that Nilam doesn't mean anything. I personally think Nilam is a real bitch, I have seen so many nasty traits in her videos over the years. But I also think she is quite pretty and exotic in her independence, and a lot of guys must be interested in her (even though it never really works out). In Raya, Louis chose the unthreatening little simpleton, a much younger girl who wouldn't give him much grief. I think this is always hanging in the air when Nilam is around... I've never seen Raya being particularly friendly toward Nilam or trying to get to know her better. She seems frosty.

He has always thought he has been above the law. One of his earliest vlogs, he got escorted off a plane in London when he arrived back from LA because he hadn't paid a speeding ticket (as he said he hadn't filled in some paperwork) he always would get lots of parking tickets too, including one where he threw the ticket in the fire and said he wasn't going to pay.When he went to New Zealand he was caught speeding way over the limit, where he should have got banned and his license taken away.
In Slovakia he got stopped by the police outside someones house because they had complained that he was stealing their WiFi. As Louis said it's their fault because they should have put a password on it

^ All of that plus the times he's held up flights for being late and inconveniencing airport staff when he's left his laptop or equipment on the plane- I know he must get tired but I'm surprised he's let this happen, given how he's quite tight with money.
I also recall he lost his wallet on the beach somewhere and luckily found it where he thought it might be: my cynical self is inclined to think this was done intentionally for some footage that day.

He's so fucking entitled. I remember years ago saying it's just ridiculous how he's always late for flights, then acting annoyed if flight staff are not nice to him. Speeding, shit driving. Ben is exactly the same.

I remember an insta story where Ben uploaded a picture of his car having a parking ticket and he said something like 'fuck you South Africa' and I was genuinely shocked. Like yes, everyone has to pay for parking, why do you think you're entitled not to do so?

Honestly Louis just seems like a horrible person, despite his 'happy love everyone vibe'.

I think people are on the orginal kickstarter page people were leaving comments about an update. It's bad though. This documentary won't ever get done, it's been over a year since they did the flight.

hmm wonder what the drama is there. He didn’t need to add that he wasn’t invited so he must be angry about it. Surely Louis could get him in if he wanted...?

But yes I fear this is going to become another vlogmemtary. People really need to stop giving Youtubers with big egos who have no clue what they’re doing , money to make documentaries.

Oh really, care to summarise the gist of the video? And any reason you have such strong feelings on Louis? Not questioning it just curious really. I definitely find him problematic at best and a total phoney.

I got curious and watched the video. She doesn't look different. She looks the same.

Her "hitting rock bottom" moment was when one of her roommates asked her to be on camera, she got upset at the idea of being on camera, and started crying. She is feeling like perfectionism is keeping her from uploading.

I've always disliked Raya because of everything she represents. There's nothing real about her videos. Even as a travel vlogger, she doesn't show the reality of actual travel. Her videos are all about pretty architecture, perfect lighting and shadows, and always surrounding herself with pretty people who are always happy and getting along. And then she makes these overly produced "Look everyone! I'm just as dysfunctional as you are!" videos that aren't genuine either.

And maybe that's what is really causing her inner conflict. She makes a living making people believe she has a fabulous, enviable life, but, deep down, she's miserable and doesn't think she can be real without giving up the perks of her fake life.

I think Raya is scared shitless. Louis is getting less views and lots of negative comments. She is getting criticism as well. Her Instagram followers aren't bad, but her Youtube channel really hasn't taken off. She still gets interest mainly for being Louis' girlfriend. I guess she believed she would grow a huge following in no time and make it big. Youtube is practically over, anyway, and you always had to be a young white male to be very successful, or a gorgeous girl with girly themes. Raya must be realizing she took a risk doing what she did. She was never the true hippy that Louis started out as. Deep down, I think Raya is conservative and needs security and order in her life. It's not about self-doubt and perfectionism, it's about panicking because there is no easy road to success.

I see what you mean Yes, she's curvy anyway and certain dresses do make you look pregnant when you're not lol but let's watch this space...

I don't think she's pregnant, she's just gained weight which is probably another reason why she is in a weird place. She has mentioned before that she is really insecure.

26? I wouldn't call that super young. I know Louis is in his mid-late 30s but I don't think it's such a large age gap. However, they don't appear to be on the same page these days: I get the impression Louis still wants the vagabond life and Raya would like to settle down (or whatever she thinks settling down means). I was happy for them when they first got together but I'm wondering too if they're right for each other now. You're right- there seems to be something 'off' with them.
