Isn't that really bad for his channel though? Like, if you get 3 copyright strikes, your channel gets deleted or something?Whitesand wrote:Awesome!! What happens to your account when you get a copyright strike?
We all make mistakes. When you get a copyright strike, it acts as a warning. However, copyright strikes may affect your ability to monetise. In addition, if your live stream or archived live stream is removed for copyright, your access to live streaming will be restricted for 90 days.
If you receive three copyright strikes:
Your account will be terminated.
All the videos uploaded to your account will be removed.
You won't be able to create new accounts.

Re: Marcus (Boring) Butler Part 2
I wonder how many copyright strikes he has, I know a lot got them at the start for having copyrighted music on in the background.
Do they stay on account or get written off after certain time period?

Re: Marcus (Boring) Butler Part 2
idk but YouTube might bend the rules a bit for 4 mil Marcus Butler
He's big and he's been on youtube for ages. There'll be a lot of backlash. I don't think they'll delete his account (unless it is like, automated or something, but that's highly unlikely)
Come to think of it, I haven't heard of any big channel being taken down because of copyright, and a lot of them have been around since as early as 2009. Surely at least one of them must have got involved in more than 3 copyright strikes? I just have a feeling that the rule doesn't apply for the 'big' people.

his video with Stefanie... she is so clever. He's so dumb. She needs to leave him.
Re: Marcus (Boring) Butler Part 2
the annoying thing about copyright infringement is that only the owner or someone affiliated with the owner can file a complaint lol

One Direction conspiracy theories? Seriously? 10 minutes of a grown-ass 25 year old rambling about why he thinks a living, breathing baby is fake and trying to pander to his tween audience. First Phan, then Larry - he really must be getting desperate.
Oh, this sad, sad man
