In the new video Shay posted on IG(jumping), is that Colette saying “honey” in the background? It sounded like her and she Liked it. Plus you can see his Garments under his shorts, which is strange because if he really cared about his endowments he wouldn’t be an alcoholic and cheat on his wife.

Also the undergarments are just for show. He doesn’t give a shit about his religion. As soon as he is sure Collette has moved on he will be joining Logan’s team on camp outcast with some blonde influencer who looks disturbingly like his sister. I doubt very much he has an active temple recommend at the moment given his current transgressions, it takes years to redeem yourself in the LDS faith from a shitshow like his, many Mormons just wear their garments for show.

Garments are a reminder of their covenants or whatever so it’s not weird for people to wear them while doing “sinful” things... unless it’s in a way that defaces the meaning of the garments (like doing porn lol... yeah it’s a thing). I don’t think in their church anyone would find it inappropiate that an alcoholic is wearing them. They’d see it as a sign that he is still believing and trying even though he is not “perfect”. Even if it’s just for show.

Avia babysitting Elliot seems reasonable, lord knows the boy probably enjoys the 1-1 interaction. The concept of Avia babysitting Elliot AND Lenny makes my ass twitch. What is Carlie thinking broadcasting who the babysitter is? Lord knows she IG’s every time she leaves the house. She has now basically broadcast that when she and Jackson aren’t home Avia is there all alone with the children. Smart family I swear.

I thought Brailee even said she can't "date" until she's 16. That's basically the rule for all Mormons. I'd be surprised if she's seeing a boy so seriously. She said she has college plans...but those always seem to change for Mormon girls.

As for Avia babysitting, she might just want time away from her family right now. We don't know the WHOLE story, but it seems like a shitty situation for the Butlers right now.

well, it’s safe to say that kayli lied. there’s no way she doesn’t know that brailee has social media and a boyfriend, especially because brailee has made several post with her, the boys and layla. there’s nothing werent with it, but why lie? i guess to keep up the perfect mormon image. but yeah, i’m assuming this kid is at least a sophomore, maybe a junior at this point. but brailee seems to have been dating him for a good while now, maybe around a year or less.

All these Mormon youtubers are weird about teen relationships. Not slamming all Mormons, because I know they don't represent all Mormons. But they all say their kids can't "date" until they are 16, but having a boyfriend/girlfriend is ok, especially if it gets lots of views. The 8 Passengers kids Shari and Chad have had relationships. Shari had a boyfriend for a couple of years then dumped him as soon as she turned 16 and could "date". But Ruby made sure to use it for clicks!
If this is the same guy, Brailee has been seeing him for at least a year. Gavin had a girlfriend too

Man! I don't know about you guys, but it makes me feel super uncomfortable when kids not even in high school, or even early high school, are in relationships. I have a 2 year old daughter and it freaks me out thinking of her having a serious boyfriend at such a young age (I have time, thank God!) Call me a prude, but I didn't date at all in high school. I had FUN and enjoyed my time as a kid. I don't know how I'll deal with a daughter that's boy crazy. I don't want her to rebel or sneak behind my back, so I've gotta figure it out in the next 12 years! I also realize I probably do not have a typical viewpoint on this subject. I probably am too conservative when it comes to kids dating, and that's only because I didn't and I can't relate. Anyway, sorry to be so off topic, but seeing brailee riding around in a car with a freaking MAN is crazy! (hahaha obviously I'm being overly dramatic here.)
