Did anyone noticed that that Dan Blizerian, the guy Aslan wanted to be in their Scandinavian couple video, was recently arrested for attempting to make a bomb? Classic..

In 2014 Bilzerian sued the producers of the film Lone Survivor. His lawsuit states that although he loaned the production of that film $1 million in exchange for a minimum of eight minutes of screen time and 80 words of dialogue, his role was reduced to less than one minute and has just one line. His lawsuit demanded $1.2 million (the original loan amount plus a 20 percent penalty).[25]

In May 2014 Bilzerian was embroiled in a legal matter with pornographic actress Janice Griffith, whom he threw off the roof of a house and into a pool as part of a photoshoot for Hustler magazine. Griffith fell slightly short of the pool, and broke her foot. Janice Griffith sued Bilzerian for $85,000 for her injured foot. Bilzerian's attorney responded that Griffith was under contract for the event by Hustler, that Hustler hired Bilzerian for the event, and that Bilzerian was not at fault.[28]

In August 2014 Bilzerian was banned from a Miami nightclub for kicking a woman in the face during a brawl. Bilzerian stated that the woman in question and another woman attacked Bilzerian's female companion. In contrast, the woman Bilzerian kicked stated, "There were two girls standing next to me at the table that were fighting. People started getting shoved and I tried to separate them. Then Dan pushed me both off the banquette and once I fell he kicked me in the face."[29]

On December 9, 2014, Bilzerian was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on unrelated bomb-making charges and is currently being held without bail.[30] According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Bilzerian was arrested on a fugitive warrant from Nevada and was booked at the LAPD's Pacific Division around 10 pm; "Bilerzian has been charged with violating a law making it a crime to possess an explosive or incendiary device with the intent to manufacture it."[31][32] He was free on the same day after charges were dropped.[33]

after a painful love affair with estee's channel i have come to the sad realisation that its time to unsubscribe. i came onto the essiebutton scene like 2 years ago and honestly loved her. i irrevocably took advice from her, waited at my computer for her videos to come out - literally looked up to her as a role model. the past six months something kinda changed tho. now, i dont actually mind about her lack of disclosure because its so flippin obvious when she is being sponsored or whatever as its sooooo plastered on and awkwardly enthusiatic "y'know'm sayin" but what i do mind is her sad descent into basic guru blandness. no one thing in particular bugs me about her - but the whole package. to me she has become another fleur, anna or lily. boring girls with pretty yet bland and unoriginal content.

Not sure if I'd hang out with these two. Their 'ideal people' seem to raise a few eyebrows. Estee 5 years ago? I'd probably chill with her. Estee today? Eff that.

Am I blind or do they not have a Christmas tree? All I saw that was dumb cactus. I know not everyone has to put up a tree but I thought Estee liked that whole Christmassy thing?

OT question: does anyone know where Estee got that black coat with the faux fur hood? Or where I could find a similar one? I really like that style but so far all my go-to stores don't have anything like it. Thanks!

Estee said they aren't putting up a tree because they're going home to Canada for Christmas. They did decorate a cactus, though.

In my head, I secretly wish they broke up but she continued to do youtube, just to see what her house or flat would look like. I bet you she will have Christmas trees in April, posters of Dr.Phil all over the place, her door bell would be a recording of Oprah's voice or something, and she will be drinking coffee, tea, soup, everything, out of Tim Hortons mugs

People have pointed out that Estee is very unsure of her own style and tends to go Single White Female, so I'm sure if they did break up, her apartment would immediately start to look like Ingrid's or Amelia's.

They strike me as a starter couple - the bf/gf you have while you're figuring out who you are and the one you split with when you realise they're not who you want.

Sometimes you can grow up with your "starter bf/gf," but I think a lot of the time people at this age break up because one of them matures and the other doesn't. In which case...

But either way, I do think Aslan would ultimately be happier with a woman with less personality -- and probably from Sweden/Finland. Estee, meanwhile, seems like she needs someone who's more fun. Often I feel like Aslan is this big lead balloon dragging her back down to earth. Sometimes opposites attract, but in their case it just feels like they're bringing each other down.

Honestly with the Dan Bilzerian thing, I don't think Aslan really looks up to him, he just said that it would be interesting to be him for a day. Most guys out there just see the Instagram posts of him with all his naked women and guns and it's an ongoing joke that they would like to be him. He probably realises that he is a major douche bag. And I doubt he agrees with the bomb making. On this forum I feel that a lot of people take one tiny comment from a video and over analyse the crap out of it, just because they don't like the person that said it.

Unrelated: Does anyone remember her DIY Coffee Scrub?! That time she was sent a handmade scrub from a small soapmaker (ok Idk 100% the persons name or business) & for whatever reason Estee decided to rip off the womans' recipe. Bc she claimed it was like £40 & "too expensive" or some bs. I believe this was around the time she changed her font from that Barbie/Coca-Cola one & right before they moved house.

Totally irrelevant but for some reason I recalled that incident & just had to come here to talk about it

I find it really strange! Especially since Essie comes from a culture and family where these things are obviously important to her. I guess it's ok if Aslan doesn't like it, but if I was him, I would totally allow Essie to put some chain of lights everywhere, put her a nice calendar together and so on. Yes! I remember that and I thought it was really shitty too! Like, of all the free shit that she gets sent, mostly from huge/very wealthy businesses, the one thing she says is overpriced and decides to do a DIY of is from this really small company. Why not show your viewers how to do a DIY bath bomb instead of buying one from Lush or something? But nope, Shadybutton encourages her viewers to give their money to huge corporations and to make a DIY scrub instead of supporting a small (I think it was local too) business. I bet the woman who sent her the scrub probably would have much rathered if Estee had just made a 'DIY coffee scrub' video without even mentioning her product, I really doubt she would have gained any business from that video.

I wonder how she would like it if she sent some of her overpriced shitty t-shirts to a YouTuber and they accepted them, showed them on their channel and then said that they were overpriced and showed their viewers how to DIY a similar item.
