I think she was just in the right place at the right time. Plus her first audience was the Middle East which propelled her to international one. She got very lucky.Runway_Ghost wrote:Huda is actually terrible at makeup. Good business woman though

Re: Hudabeauty
she has been so irrelevant since her foundation launch that sucked and her mini palettes that might be good if i could get my hands on them since theyre sold out all the time
I'm not sorry.
Re: Hudabeauty
Did anyone else think it was inappropriate for Huda to post the video of the child belly dancing in an adult outfit? Was surprised that she could find that "cute"

"Huda Boss" - a new series on Facebook coming June 12th - I wonder if it is just going to be an extended version of the annoying snapchat videos! They're so desperate to be the Middle East's Kardashians....

Yeees! I went to harrods and the Arab sales assistant was trying to convince me to purchase it. I swatched one of the colours and was like this is completely shit, drugstore make up is better. Apparently I didmt know what I was talking about. But she should stick to lip kits, its working. Her eye stuff is total and utter crap

Re: Hudabeauty
Huda and her sisters are just the Middle Eastern Wannabee Kardashians. So fake, screechy, unnecessarily hyper. It's so cringey to watch them. Has anyone actually watched their Facebook show? I assumed it would be an extended version of her unbearable snaps (which I stopped watching months ago) so never gave this a chance...
Her foundation had VERY mixed reviews. Many negative. And I'm confused as to why the palette came back? Is it to try and redeem the name as that had mostly negative reviews too?? You know she'll sell like crazy on the new products because people just buy anything with a name slapped on it. and that too for £60 a go.

The baking kit packaging is SOOOOOOOOO unoriginal! Been done by so many brands now I can't tell who's who

Re: Hudabeauty
She flat out copied Beauty Bakerie down to the promo images, she should be ashamed of herself especially since she's so racist towards women of color and beauty bakerie is a black owned brand.

I watched three episodes but had to fast forward because it was so cringy watching it made me feel embarrassed for them. Everything is so fake. They are pretending a concealer launch had to be cancelled and 1.5 million dollars worth of product had to be thrown away because they quality was not up to her standard. You can tell it’s a fake made up story from the reasons Huda brings up. A cosmetics manufacturing lab in Italy would not be making such a mistake that she describes and then producing and packaging without proper testing. Also they talk about the losses first as 1.5 million dollars and then 2 million dollars just throwing big numbers to look cute. So so so cringy I couldn’t watch anymore episodes.
All they do is try to show off how much money and material things they’ve collected because of the brands success. I think if they acted more normal and showed off less the show could be fun to watch but what they have now is awful. Huda and Mona look like two overly dressed up and badly done makeup clowns walking around LA and Dubai feeling cute.
By the way how is it that Huda is so bad at applying her own makeup? You can see all the contour lines and. It looks awful more like clown makeup.

Re: Hudabeauty
I am mostly ambivalent about Huda's brand. Her products are hit or miss. She herself is a cringy person though. I really wish there would be a trend for these women to tone down their personalities. I'm tired of this faux-over-excitable childishness. The moment that I saw that she was doing a "facebook show" I screeched. Who cares about her and her sisters like that? What this woman needs to do is to tone down trying to be "relatable", make sure that her products aren't terrible (so she doesn't have to make an equally shitty remastered version), and keep it hush.
Plus, that Baking powder fiasco is shameful. She should also work on originality as well.

Sounds like something where you root for no one. He is probably jumping on attacking Huda for blatantly copying Beauty Bakerie (which he isn't wrong about, but we all know he lives for drama and not the principle). Can't wait for the HFTT video on this.Lalaliar wrote:thoughts on the new jefree star and huda drama?

Re: Hudabeauty
Basically he's claiming its obvious she stole her Easy Bake powder idea with the vintage theme from this tiny brand called beauty bakerie in his new video full face using brands that hate me. Then she reached out to him on twitter saying she was not aware of any drama between them (obviously she didnt watch the video) and instead of replying he just screenshotted and posted her DMs on twitter saying she didn't even address the problem (her supposedly stealing from the tiny brand). Then, huda went on a rant on Instagram live not naming jefree but saying some people will try to get in the way of your hussle and you just need to stay positive.beautyineveryone wrote:Can someone give a summarySent from my Moto G (4) using TapatalkLalaliar wrote:thoughts on the new jefree star and huda drama?
So many other beauty gurus on youtube are starting to come out saying they don't like huda because her lack of support for dark skinned women and gays on her instagram feed....
in all honesty Im on huda's side on this. Jefree is a known bitch who constantly needs drama and has an actual racist past who doesnt really have a place to talk. It doesn't take a genius to think of putting under baking powder and real baking together, so its plausible huda did come up with the idea. Secondly, her main audience is the middle east who don't like dark skinned and/or gay people so i understand why her brand page doesn't post too much of those BUT huda as a person doesn't have a problem with either.... at the end of the day jefree is hungry to be relevant and sees huda as a big competitor to his makeup line and decided to start some beef
Dance monkeys, dance!
Re: Hudabeauty
I personally don't think she copied. I think people who already dislike Huda and want to promote BB are using this as an excuse to promote BB and slam Huda at the same time.Lalaliar wrote:thoughts on the new jefree star and huda drama?
