Marina and The Diamonds

After being in the Michelle Phan threads, I saw that there were quite a bit of MATD fans. So, I thought I'd start a topic on her since I personally think she's amazing.
So what's your opinion of her? Do you prefer The Family Jewels Marina or Electra Heart Marina? etc. DISCUSS!

I prefer the Family Jewels I guess just because I like that music. I haven't heard her newer stuff as much but maybe it just takes a while of listening to start liking it for me.

Wow, that's such a hard choice, I love The Family Jewels, but that could be put down to mostly nostalgia (although it's an amazing album.) I really like Electra Heart, I think it's just as good if not better. Lies is just the most amazing thing, and hearing her perform it live last year was just; I think I actually fangirl'd.

I just like the overall sound of the Family Jewels in comparison to her new stuff. And just like CutePoison said, there's some nostalgia there as well.

I recently discovered her I really like her music so far and she is gorgeous. I had heard about her in the past but never paid much attention. I've mostly only listened to the songs on Electra Heart what are some other good songs?

I don't know much about her is she releasing a new album soon or no?

I love Marina, it sucks that her new album got leaked and now she has (well she doesn't have to) release all her new songs. I don't really like her doing it that way because I don't really get time to start liking the new songs, before when it was the one song a month thing, it was nice because it gave me time to like the songs. I know I can still do that now but it doesn't feel the same.

Also she's doing another FAQing in Hell live show on March 16th with Joey Graceffa, really wish it was with some else other than him, he annoys me to hell and back.

I'm kinda sad I didn't like "froot" as much as I thought. My fave song on it is "froot" and rest is okay a lot of the songs sound the same. I do however love the color scheme it is beautiful the CD cover is stunning.

Yeah, Froot isn't my favorite by her. It's not terrible, but just not my taste, although knowing myself, I will know all the songs by heart by the end of the year

I really like the new album right off the bat. I like the different sound for her and the lyrics seem really honest.

^ Can you elaborate? I've only been following her since summer 2014 and she seems pretty chill. But Idk that much about her just the stuff I've seen in interviews.

i love the family jewels, her old EPs and Froot. but am i the only one who isnt that much into electra heart?
