When we buy an eye shadow palette they usually have an opaque cover. Then z palettes have a screen to see the eyeshadows. What do you prefer and why? Or just vote in ze poll.

Honestly, this is a toss up for me. I prefer a window for palettes I use at home because I have a huge mirror at my disposal. On the go, I need a palette with a mirror attached. It's too much of a hassle to hold a palette & compact in my car. lol

I prefer a window. I've never needed a mirror on a makeup palette because I don't do my makeup anywhere but in my bathroom with the occasional exception of a touch up in a friend's bathroom. I wear very little makeup because even after all the years of watching makeup tutorials, I still can't get it right. I mean I seriously look like a clown when I try to do a full face of makeup. Anyways, because I hardly wear any makeup, I don't have to worry about it getting messed up throughout the day.
I'm new here. I've never been a member of a forum before, and I'm still learning my manners. :D

If every pallet has their own style i can know from the outside what is inside. But some pallets like those massive 88pallets, it easier to have a window to see which one you are holding.

I prefer most if not all of my palettes to have a window so I can do the close up looks evern better each and every time and you can also see more details at least with my vision I can.

I love having a window to see my shadows. I hated how they looked when other people showed them in videos but now I have one myself it is genuinely so helpful
