Anyway, I actually think the bold makeup was quite nice on her, but she really needs to freshen up her contour and eyeshadow application skills.

Yes! And um, does anyone else think it's awkward she's copying a white guru's makeup look and trying to use all the same Contour shades?

Exactly @Kale Contour! I was making a face when she showed the vid of Jamie (didn't know who she was lol)

I was at least hoping Sam would tweak the shades to match her skin tone? She even said the YSL foundation didn't match her skin but went ahead with it anyway

I wish Sam would just come up with some content of what she wants to put out as it would make her vids more authentic if you know what I mean, instead she's jumping on every trending vid that's out at the moment to feel like part of something

Sam needs to stop wearing foundations that are pale/cold/beige and start buying warmer shades as I don't think she comes across as light as she does on camera

The comments on her "lets talk about work" vlog where she addresses the filler criticism are so so stupid. Were there a lot of comments about her not being a feminist because she got fillers? I didn't see any and I watched the video while it was live. Figures she would focus on the feminist thing because she has so many female viewers and they would disregard everything else and just focus on that and agree with her. Also, she can't express herself at all, why does it find it so hard to speak all the damn time?

The new tutorial copying Jamie was only good because it reminded me of a time when Sammi put effort into *something*.

Now her hair, makeup, fashion all seems half assed.

Even some YouTubers, I'll admit, I click on their videos purely because of the way they've styled themselves. Like I'll have no interest in the topic at all, but it'll be their hair, outfit and makeup that'll make me give them a click just to have a look and maybe see where it's from.

Sammi doesn't even at least do that.

Agreed, I liked the video. Also I thought it was interesting how she mentioned that she started her channel doing beauty but then the youtube community grew with actual makeup artists and people who were not just playing around liker her so she switched to other topics. I remember watching her because of the beauty part. Now the only time she talks about beauty is when she gets sent stuff.

In the Jamie Genevieve tutorial I didn't think the fillers looked awful. But in the vlog you can see one side of face is noticeable larger than the other and get neck looks tiny because her face is so big now. Whenever she turns to the side you can tell she already has that bloated filler look from the one procedure, though not surprising because her face is naturally round.

I actually don't like her lips, too much filler in the bottom one.

the jamie tutorial was recorded a while ago, before the fillers i believe. she looked really good in it. but in the vlog, you can def tell she's looking a bit lopsided

Yes i agree. Why doesnt she copy a girl of her own skin tone? And use the colours for her own skintone. Instead shes copying this whitegirls shading of makeup. She just does it because she can get away with it to a certain extent. But still theres lots of mixed race girls with her skintone.

I think this is why Sam will never wear her natural hair no matter how long or healthy it gets because her hair is what shows her blackness. She hates it

Her cosmetic explanation didn't bother me as a whole, except if she's so defiant, why not keep the vlog up?

We all know cosmetic enhancement is a touchy subject and she must've got a similar response with her lip filler and boob job videos so she knew exactly what to expect.

Also her describing those who didn't criticise her as being "lovely" tickled me. So you're automatically not nice for sharing an opinion? Most people in her comments were clearly speaking with concern and care for her yet she says they're not "lovely". And people wonder why GG threads are made.

But even when she uploaded it, I agreed with her sentiment that at least she was one person being fully open about procedures unlike so many.

She just needed to stand her ground, say she wasn't talked into it and leave it at that.

The entire YouTube tutorial she was doing the classic dumb girl act in regards to make up application. And we all know it's a defense mechanism so no one can say she's not good at makeup (She's actually alright, not too bad) It's her personality that's shabby.

The dumb act wasn't funny and it was simply annoying. She's a YouTuber? Who is sent beauty brands on a daily basis? And is acting like she's never held a brush before.
