i think it was more that she didnt want to be identified... shes listed with her account AND last name on Fightstar`s wikipedia page, and she really values her own privacy (which is understandable).

Are they like the British version of the Grammy's? I have never heard of it before so I'm just curious? It does sound like a pretty cool gig considering all the British beauty guru's there are and she was chosen for it.

They are more like the American Music Awards, although they don't get a lot of the 'big' artists though like the AMAs/Grammy's.

I feel the same! She;ll be amazing. Its kind of awkward though, most of the Gleamers are veeeeeeery vocal about wanting to transition over into presenting, and shes doing it instead... loldontcare. Go Fleur!

I would say maybe The Brit Awards are on a par with The Grammy's in some ways. At least in Britain. They might not get the "big" American artists but hey that's because it's The Brits. Pretty sure when it first started it mainly celebrated British music.
I'm pleased for her, as I think she will do this job well. She already has a lot of connections in the music world so she's comfortable with celebrities and isn't as likely to get starstruck like Tanya would for example. Hopefully it wasn't just her connections that helped secure this for her.
Jim Chapman would have killed for this job I am sure!

I think the Gleam people want to walk on the red carpet...not necessarily stand next to it trying to get interviews.

I'm happy for fleur, but she's going to have to give like 100% more energy and smile while doing the interviews.

ETA: I think since she switched to the la management she's gotten some cool gigs. (did she switch?)

I think it's hysterical the timing of this announcement - I know Fleur would have had no say on this but Fleur your timing is impeccable! Ever so slightly stealing Tanya's thunder!
Reading the info on it it seems she will also be interviewing the celebrities behind the scenes? I hope someone goes shopping with her for a dress as I don't trust Fleur to get one that suits her body shape!

And I'm going to go against the grain here and say I think she'll be shit If nerves were to blame how meek, unenthusiastic and moody she came across on Project Runway, then I can't imagine her being much different for such a big gig like this.

Seriously. How on earth did she bag this?! She's her own manager/agent/everything, isn't she? She's not affiliated with anyone?

If so, kudos for her to managing to get it on her own.

I really liked her new vlog too. This format seems to be a lot more fun to watch than her usual monthly vlogging (which I started to hate near the end of vlogmas). Really glad she was sick of that herself as well haha.
