As a woman considering breast augmentation, I am definitely all for fake ones. Personally, I don't find fake looking tits attractive so the fake boobs that I do like are ones done with a natural aesthetic. Those of you saying you've never seen a breast augmentation that looked good or natural, I'd advise you to keep looking (if you're interested). It's almost like an artistry that the surgeon has to master. Since I'm interested in getting BA, I've been researching tons and tons of cosmetic surgeons as well as looking at hundreds and hundreds of before and afters and I have to say, a lot of the photos I've seen aren't top of the line in my book. That's why it's important to research your surgeon and know the type of work they do and what you can expect. Also most of the photos that I save to my boobie file that I think look the most natural and feel no one would be able to tell that the woman even had work done, are actually photos of SALINE breast implants, not silicone. Which is odd since all you ever here are people wanting silicone since they feel more natural to the touch and give a more natural shape to the breast.

All in all, I think it's up to the person. I really dislike when people assume that just because a woman wants breast augmentation that she wants that fake look or that she just wants huge boobs. I simply want to balance out my body, not go for a look that screams "AUGMENTED TITTIES RIGHT HERE". I think it's kind of a put down when people bash women who get plastic surgery. If someone is not comfortable with something about themselves and they have the means to change it, who the fuck is anyone else to judge that decision? I know I'm certainly not.

I've been flat as a board for a good while now (read: forever) and I realized recently that I don't think I'd want to look down at me and suddenly see breasts there, so no surgery for me. However, I think it's all a matter of ratio. I'd prefer my aesthetics if I were a lot thinner. I'd be even flatter but I really don't mind not being "feminine" (UGH), I've learned to accept it and work my way with that part of me that I just can't change :)

I've yet to come to acceptance with not being recognized as a woman because I'm curveless though. It's as if being model material, curvy or tall+thin are about all that's accepted; if you happen to be short, curveless and flat you sort of fall in the cracks and have very few ways to identify. It is disorienting to fall in the cracks :|

Real boobs will always be better, but I can understand d why women get fake ones. I kinda feel bad for girls with nothing. Cause they do exist some women are just flat chested.I used to be a 36a had my kids and got boobs. I went up a few cup sizes even after I stopped breastfeeding. Love that I have boobs now.

I got implants during the summer of 2013, I went from a 34a to a 36d. I'm 5'6 (maybe 5'7) and 125 pounds, I personally think I got a good size for me.I made it a present from myself because I lost a lot of weight which was really hard for me. I had always been flat chested even when I was larger and wanted bigger breast. My boyfriend actually didn't want me to get implants because he liked me the way I was but I'm happy with my decision to get them. After I got them he loved them too.
But personally I think boobs are boobs, no matter what boys love them. If you want fake ones do it for yourself.

I think most women look best with breasts proportionate to their body. Overall, I'd say a C cup looks the nicest. Big breasts can be overrated because big does not equal nice. I wear a D cup and I think they're awful. They grew too fast when I was younger and they're really saggy. I have those nightmare tennis ball in a sock breasts. I wish I could just chop them off sometimes.

If I had the money, I'd get a breast lift in a heartbeat.

I don't like anything fake. It really turns me off seeing people with huge, obviously fake ones. However, that's just my opinion. I also think that everyone should go with whatever makes them happy with themselves. I don't judge a person for whether they have them or not, but it just turns me off and I can't help it. There are plenty of well-done boob jobs that no one bats an eye at. It's the huge , obviously fake ones that really get me, I guess.

I think if you're totally unhappy with them and have the money and are sure you want them, then you should totally go for it. Again, it's all about what makes you happy with yourself.

Well I have an A cup and I've never been happy with my boobs. I'm not in my twenties and still haven't grown to love them. it just makes me feel inadequate and less feminine I guess. I don't even want big boobs, I just want them to be a normal size so I can fill out a bathing suit top or even a regular top without wearing a push-up bra. If I didn't wear a push-up bra I would probably have the body of a 12 year old. When I wear a sports ra at the gym I always wear a regular bra under it because I don't want to look completely flat-chested. It's just embarrassing to me. Haha The positive side is that they are in proportion to my body since I do have a small frame. I know it sounds shallow, but I actually think I would be happier with bigger boobs even just a B cup. I see all these women walking around with even just decent sized breasts and it just makes me jealous!! Lol. I don't know if I would ever consider breast augmentation. It freaks me out just thinking about surgery and the amount of pain that would come after it. Plus, it's still hard for me to justify in my mind voluntary surgery. I used to be completely against it for moral reasons, but I've become a lot more open-minded about it as I've gotten older. I go back and forth about it all the time.

I'm with angelaj on my thoughts. I am a 32A [a 28C technically, but I went with the sister sizes] and I always, always, ALWAYS wear a pushup bra. If I can't wear one, then I feel weird. It's not even that I get cleavage from the pushup, it just makes me look like I have boobs.
I've been debating an augmentation for several years and I know that once I have the money, I'll most likely go through with it. I can't really talk to my SO about it because he just says "I don't like big boobs" and shuts me out. I want to go to a [proportionate to me] B/C cup.
I think it mainly bothers me because I have wonderful hips and a wonderful backside, but then you continue up and it's like "oh hey, who left this kid here" and that really bothers me.

It's really just an opinion and I know there are people that disagree with them and there's those that could care less.

Ever since porn went mainstream and acceptable, it seems that whatever porn dictates as attractive society seems to follow it religiously which right now big boobs are big ass are in. I have a weird anomaly where one breast is 36b and the other is 32a, don't know why but point is I was very conscious about it and it made me sexually shy, very very shy for a long time until I finally gave up on letting society dictate what beauty is supposed to be.

I really thought men would be turned off by my two different boob sizes but each time I gave a warning to the guy I was about to sleep with about them they all looked at me with a "do I look like I give a f*** ?" lol. My hubby makes a joke that he's the luckiest man in the world because he gets to hold two cup sizes at once so he gets variety LOL.

But yea, had you asked me this 4 years ago I'd be team fake all the way because I dreamed about it so much but now that I've found someone who's made me feel confident about small also being allowed to be in the sexy category I'll go with natural.
Good on you for being so honest (with a bunch of strangers) and owning your body as it is. I have a similar problem and I too was shy etc. My bf atm doesn't care and is dead set against me getting implants...he loves the natural feel. I love the shape of my boobs and I might someday like to even them out but atm it's not a priority

As for whether big or small/fake or real is better: when I was younger I thought big was better but smaller ones are just as nice. I have never felt a fake one, no idea what it's like. I personally dislike the look of very obvious fake boobs but that's just me. Some people love it or don't mind it. If you're getting implants tho: do your research, make sure you get a good surgeon and don't go into debt for em.

How would you see the point though? You naturally have the size that many women pay thousands of dollars for. A lot of women get implants not to just "have bigger boobs" but to ... have boobs period.

I feel like everyone immediately thinks HUGE, DDD+ porn star boobs when they hear the words "breast implant" (it's even happening in this thread) and I think that's pretty damn ignorant. Not everyone who gets a breast augmentation wants that look! I am a 34A and wear a push-up bra and padded inserts every.single.day. I feel so unfeminine without those 2 crutches (even though I understand boobs don't determine femininity) and if I could have even just a small C cup, I would be over the moon. Currently saving/looking into financing options. Someday...
I agree with you 100%.

I don't really care if someone's boobs are fake or not like, WTF? It's their decision and i agree with not everybody wants really big boobs. Just because someone has a boob job, doesn't mean they're fake. They have feelings and emotions and insecurities like everybody else.

please note that everyone out there has different preferences, whether it be small or big, real or fake, and whatever you want to do with your breasts should be for your own approval, not others.

I wish I could get a boob job. I'm usually a 34B....32C on some bras and on good days. Then again, those two sizes are "twin sizes" anyways. I'm just too chicken shit to go through surgery. I have ZERO TOLERANCE for pain. If there was a guaranteed 100% pain free breast implant surgery, sign me up!!!

I had my boobs done at the age of 23 (3 years ago). I started as a AA cup and am now a 32D. It was a very reasonable boob job for my body type and no one can tell they're fake. It was the best decision I've ever made. As for the pain? There wasn't really any pain in my recovery. There was a lot of pressure and my upper body strength was completely gone for a while, but no pain besides random twinges of pain. I would do it again in a heartbeat, but I'm already happy with the implants I have.
