Help Me Critique My Writing!

Hi there! I'm applying to go study abroad in Paris next year and have written a short, 500-word essay on why I should study there. I would really appreciate it if someone would be willing to read my essay and critique it for me, let me know what I should improve/add, ect. :love2:

If you'll be willing to help me out, I would be eternally grateful! :) The reason I'm asking online is that I feel like it's better to have strangers proofread your essays than your friends/family, because they'll be slightly biased when reading anyway.
