Mukbang Channels

So I thought this would be ok for it's own thread, since a lot of Mukbang-ers seems to be doing strictly eating shows without ASMR.

Do you watch any? Who are your favorites?

Keemi and MommyTang are obviously the top ones. I like Keemi but her videos are often really long, and she's kind of boring to watch. You can tell she puts in a lot of effort though, and she's probably the most genuine copycat of the Korean-based ones that started mukbang. I love when Trisha Paytas does them just because she's so disgusting and orders so much food, like 3 entrees, an appetizer and dessert. Most mukbangers don't seem to have the budget to do that.
There's one girl I'm subscribed to named Candy K who is absolutely a train wreck. Everyone speculates that she is on drugs, and she is probably the most disgusting eater I've ever seen. It's entertaining though lol.

Any others I should watch or any others that you enjoy?

I really love Kinoshita Yuka! She's eats sooooo much and she's really energetic & cute. She fast forwards her videos though, so you don't get to watch the entire process.

Sweetandtastytv does some mukbang videos. I follow her mostly for her Korean videos but I've put on a mukbang or two as background noise.

I love Yuka! Her videos are great when you just want something quick and food porny. A lot of mukbang channels seem to think you need to upload 45 minute long videos, because the original Korean live streamers would stream for 1hr+ but it's so unnecessary IMO. I don't know who has time to watch hours and hours worth of YouTube videos every night. Then again I just watch to see the food/personalities, and don't care so much for the relaxing/asmr aspects of it, so that may be why I prefer shorter rather than longer videos.

^Keemi. She was eating the candy bars all slow while seductively staring into the camera. Mumbling with horrible audio. I don't know how anyone can stand watching a full 45 minute video of hers. The ASMR factor isn't good and her personality blows.

It's so funny to see how many eating channels are popping up now and even seeing random already established channels try mukbang because it's popular.

I recently discovered Meesh LA and the more I watch her videos the more I like her. She usually only uploads once a week, because YouTube is not her job she's working as an actress/extra in movies/series I think.
At first I thought she's just a basic LA girly girl but she has a twisted humor which I like and unlike most Mukbangers she eats reasonable portions (at least in my opinion).

A lot of her fans are probably men with feeding fetishes and people who just enjoy seeing morbidly obese people binge on food to feel better about their own weight. It's disturbing as hell watching this woman eat her way into an early grave and the way all her "fans" are encouraging her behaviour. I feel bad even watching someone be this self-destructive. Might as well watch an addict shoot up heroin into their veins next and encourage them to do more. I also think she's being rather self-centred by cashing in so much on this. She's normalizing eating enormous amounts of food like it's no big deal to so many people and I hope no other obese person ends up dying due to her bad influence. People need to look at what happened to the mukbanger Jasper Daze and realise that they aren't invisible.

What's odd about Wendy is that she actually doesn't even eat that much in her videos. She must save it for off camera. She had a dozen donut video and I think ate 2 1/2 of them and talked the rest of it.
I wonder what she even did before YouTube. She seems unemployed and lives with her family. You can tell she's spending money on stupid stuff now (the wigs, decorations in the back, random videos of eating out more (buffet mukbang, ferry mukbang lol.) I hope she's not blowing it all. She stayed in LA to do a mukbang with Nikocado Avocado and her mom came with her which I thought was weird since she's 23/24 or something? And she said she hadn't been to LA before or something like that. She lives only 2 hrs away, I find that weird. She seemed stunted and sheltered.

I have to second Meesh LA! Although recently I think she exaggerates some reactions to food to gain followers. She still has a huge variety of foods and has even inspired me to make some dishes.

Divine Munchies is going back to being vegan again. She admitted she stopped being vegan because she wanted to be able to build her channel and do stuff that would get more views (the spicy noodle challenges, in n out, other junky non vegan foods) and now that her channel has grown she wants to go back to advertising the vegan lifestyle. Kinda weird. How can someone who clearly isn't very passionate about the vegan message act like they want to be some sort of vegan advocate? You were just eating 20 lbs of cheese and animal products last week girl.
I like her but there's something a bit off with her personality. I wonder if she still actively does drugs.

Who saw the Shane Dawson video with Trisha saying that meesh doesn’t swallow her food? Now watch her videos and there is a “cut” after every bite. Suspicious. She mentioned it in passing in her hot noodles video recently, but said she’ll address it in her next video. Probably trying to figure out how to spin it.

I saw that! She never finishes her food or comes even close to it, so I doubt she is spitting it out. The cuts are annoying regardless.

To be fair, her arms do look just a *bit* chubbier than when she started her mukbangs. So maybe she actually eats the food?
